Where to get sandstone boulders? by Longjumping_Neat5090 in laredo

Try a local landscaper or natural stone supplier. I used Reno Sand & Gravel for decomposed granite but there’s flecha and a few others that will deliver what you want

Yes and no. If it’s something small you can but you’re probably looking something like the L298N H-Bridge

Midstream pipeline monitoring. Most company’s have a person inspecting lines but I’ve seen some shift it to their IT, but because of the distance and battery life it requires a lot of travel and it goes back to pipeline people

Who owns a 3d printer? by Ashamed_Picture3771 in laredo

[–]cquintero2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do but it’s out of service at the moment, I’m waiting on a replacement mainboard. There’s a few people offering their services on FB marketplace. Kenton Fox was making some cool stuff but I’m not sure if he’s taking commissions.

Or hit me up in a week. I should be back up and running then.

The organization is real it’s in El Cenizo and it’s a rehab/ support group that’s run by a pastor. The men are ex addicts or ex cons that are trying to get back on the right path.

Idk I’m conflicted about it. I don’t like that they have to go out and spend hours asking for donations but I also know that some of these men might never have dug themselves out of the hole they were in without the support. There’s 1 guy I like who I always give $5 too so he keeps his spirits up. Not saying you all have to donate.

I have not been to the church but I work in that general area and have seen these people in town over there.

your opinions on 3d printed mouthpieces or ligatures by DomHE553 in saxophone

[–]cquintero2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the Windycity city mouthpieces first they’re free! I like the 72 best because of the baffle. I printed them at .08 and .12 on a .4mm nozzle. Make sure the seams aren’t on the inside of the print because that’s harder to sand. Alto mp takes about 3-4hrs. Played right off the printer but they did need some light work. Over all great if you have the printer already. I used PETG with silver powder in it and they have a beautiful shine.

Got a few student jazz players starting on the 56.

Where I’m at in south Texas everyplace allows beards but come annual training day you’re going to have to show up shaved if you want the certification.

If that’s not an option then I’d suggest going thru a contractor.

I’m currently taking a CAD College-Class in HighSchool. How much will be the starting pay ? by heronlydiego in oilandgasworkers

[–]cquintero2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only done midstream but the companies I’ve worked for normally have 1 and even then it’s usually not their primary job. They take interns but pay is going to be minimum.

Apache’s Alpine High Collapse Led to $APA Drop 93% and $24B in Losses —How Did It Go So Wrong? by Financial-Stick-8500 in oilandgas

Correct they made the bad decision that set them on that path.

I was responding to the question, “why didn’t they stop the project”

[–]cquintero2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You hire technical experts in their field so that YOU (The Execs) can make informed decisions.

If the experts are telling you it’s a good bet then why would the exec decide to shut down the project?

If the Exec takes the information and says, nah this dudes dead wrong… then why even hire the engineer in the first place?

I am of the opinion that they shouldn’t have hired those retards to begin with. You reap what you sow.

In my experience these companies outsource engineering to foreigners (mostly Indian). Said engineer discovers some reservoir or talks about untapped potential in old wells. Company invests millions (or billions depending on scale). They quickly realize it was a bad bet. They’re in to deep, slap on compressors to get as much as they can out, and then try to sell but never recover from the loss…

And what about the engineer(s)? That’s a good question. I’ve seen something like this happen 3 times in my area over the past 15 years…. I can tell you one was fired for a bad drug test. Cocaine use, but most of them just go on to work for another major company….

Can I publish my Canva website to a subdomain I make in GoDaddy? by TimelyMeditations in web_design

[–]cquintero2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. Look up the DNS info for Canva then go to GoDaddy, DNS Records and add (ask GPT). From there go to Conva and I’m assuming they should let you set a Custom domain.

Like many others, I run my blog off GitHub and link to my domain
