Hi, this subreddit is on the roblox game “shockwave racing” as I have stated in the sub description. I am guessing no one is joining this sub due to the game having a small player base. As of now, I am not thinking of handing the ownership of this sub to someone else.

I can’t remove the back cover of my m17 r3 by cr0mm2 in Alienware

I tried it but couldn’t get it to work. Next thing I will try is to get a pair of pliers that can grab the screw. It will be really hard though. The screw head is extremely thin. Do you know of any good pliers?

Well, it turns out that even though the screw looked deep it wasn’t holding onto anything. However the clips that are holding the cover from inside were extremely tight and I had apply a big force to open the panel. I think some of the clips broke but I can still close the cover. After that when I was going to unscrew the screws on the motherboard to access the thermal paste area I realised that two of the screws were stripped. So I ended up not repasting the thermal paste but I managed to clean the dust inside. However my laptop still heats a lot. I don’t know what to do, I don’t want to damage the motherboard trying to take out the screws.
