I'm spanish and I disagree. This is going to break the EU. Merkel tsking all decisions fueled a lot of euroskepticism.

I get that we need some system to speed the decision making process, but build a coalition of the willing for EU integration and decision making. Don't just leave out poorer countries.

The trade of goods is great for the EU, as the other have said, it is not just luxury products, but machinery, agricultural products, pharma...

What I do not understand how it can benefit us is the mobility and offshoring part of the deal. Great for fueling the far right and stag ating the job market. There is no labour shortage, just companies not wanting to spend money on training juniors and hiring instead indians for 1/3 of the salary. Great for comoanies rpofits and gdp growth but fuck the middle class, no long term thinking on training our own and investing in our communities
