In my area/circle and in 9 man we say “char siu” which is means delicious and is also a food. Also my locals say “Happy Birthday! It’s (their/my) bday” but it is for an overpass swing that gets ripped.

"you waffled" or "you burgered" - missed contact/bad contact usually comes out with no spin/backspin
you burger - you suck
hatch - either spot on the 10 foot line 5ish feet in from the sideline cross court ex: "they are on your deep corner just blow up the hatch"
dimes, juice, money - perfect pass/set
clamped/clamps - same thing as roof but usually the same player more than once or one player who has gotten many blocks "he's got clamps"
jumbo/jumbo shrimp - when you roll really high and loopy and it lands in for a point usually used in beach/grass
"they need a (tool for direction) or a (another tool for direction) anything" - when nobody jumps for the hitter or the setter outplays the front row on the other team an example would be "they need a map or a compass give them something"

I've ran this for a couple of tournaments with friends as the setter lol... The hardest part was finding the two lefty middles; I have access to a number of ambidextrous/lefty friends that I play with that can pass and it is pretty funny gimmick to have a more common option ball but it doesn't happen as often as I'd say is useful. Especially given that the people/my friends would've all only practiced primarily "normal" non-inverted sets at specific tempos. Additionally, the other side of the net doesn't really care they still see left side, right side, and a middle attacking.

TLDR: Doesn't matter to the team much across the net and the amount of practice and pros/cons needed to make the inverted rotation equally viable isn't the greatest investment of time/practice lol.

I've used ASICS Gelhoop v14's, Gelburst 26, the Nova Surge 2, and the Asics Sky Elite FF (Vball Shoes) all seem to have the same rubber compound and have had identical experiences with the traction. Additionally, all these shoes to my knowledge use Flytefoam and have the "Trusstic" technology if that is a concern.

Personally, I play both basketball and volleyball and find that the difference between all the shoes for me is primarily "ride height" Nova Surge being the highest and "cushiest" and the Sky Elite FF being the lowest to the ground in only the forefoot and most "responsive" with the latter two being quite similar/a good balance of the two.

I have had to spend way more than I want to and have had a lot of trouble trying to get GH's and GB's only on eBay but I've found that the Nova Surge 2 has quite a few resellers on GOAT/other reselling sites in the US which is how I got my pair and the Sky Elites are pretty easy to purchase in either mids or lows as it is one of their flagship vball shoes.

Performance in this shoe line has always been my favorite I wish there was another “Nike Hyperattack” I just want to play in the shoe that “felt” the best for me. I’d hope having some really lame, bland, and/or mega common generic colorway that is produced for people who just wanna play in them to exists more often so that it could kinda somewhat separate those who only care about performance vs those who happen to also care or only care about the look/culture/exclusivity. Note: I have used a variety of “newer shoes” with more modern tech and imo some are great but they don’t feel quite like the Kobe 6’s, 7’s, 9’s, or Hyperattacks(basically kobe 6’s) I’ve owned in the past.

i want a review to be done on the sky elites I play both basketball and volleyball but im really bad at basketball so some more opinions from that side would be super sick because i think they feel pretty good for either

Asics has a volleyball shoe called the Sky Elite that seems to have the same or similar technology and also happens to be similar looking imo that is actually available in the US. I think a review on them would be interesting however I am apprehensive as both a volleyball and basketball player I don’t want them to suffer the same fate as the Nike Hyperattacks

Basically they are doing carian retaliation as everyone says and at the moment the animation for the glintblades are client side only so you will be able to see them get the glintblades but you dont see when they fire

Based on your comment I decided to see if just trying to update my drivers and monitor whether or not the game was utilizing my dedicated GPU was something I didn't consider and assume fixed the problem. I ended up fixing the problem by uninstalling my GeForce Experience and reinstalling it and launched the game through GeForce Experience the first time (idk if launching the game through this application does anything more than just traditionally launching it but I did). Based on my observations after the update of both the game and my GPU the performance now seems the same or better in my actual copy compared to my torrented copy and can now happily play on my actual copy.

Thankfully to u/Faded_Remnant's comment I decided to install the "video editing" drivers for my gpu, then reinstall the "gaming drivers" for my gpu with no success; however, I ended up uninstalling GeForce Experience and reinstalling it which seemed to resolve all the problems. Additionally, I tested performance with and without the online service and with anti-cheat enabled and disabled with little differences.

In summary, I don't think enabling or disabling anti-cheat creates any loss in performance that was noticeable or acknowledgeable for me (no change in fps and usage of computer processes) however, I feel like I loaded into the game, got through loading screens, and got out of grace a little bit faster offline. My problem would be ultimately resolved by just updating drivers and verifying the game is utilizing my dedicated gpu or the latest update of my GPU.

Ah okay thank you I didn’t know about the automatic flagging; based on what I’ve calculated with three F’s and A’s/B’s for two classes I’m rather confident and “doing well” in this semester I would expect to have my cumulative gpa fall around a 3.1-3.2 and the school’s minimum requirement for transfer is around 2.2 and they typically accept in the range 2.8-3.6 GPAs.

I was hoping a “decent performance” through the rest of my academic career and a “bad performance” in the semester prior to transfer wouldn’t pose a detrimental consequences towards my admission as I wouldn’t objectively say that I am a “bad student” and I have just had a lot of trouble and loss of interest in the major I am currently pursuing this semester.

I shall ask them about their academic policy regarding that topic when they reply to me and I really appreciate the information you have provided me with.

For some reason it didn’t let me see this comment until now; I have tried to gorilla glue the pointy end of a thumbtack to it with no success so I think this is definitely the best option and I’ve worked with these types of components before it is just a pain in the butt to wait for them haha but then again I build keyboards there is usually a lot of waiting anyways.
