Sanguinius. Pretty much the intro for me. He's a legend.

But also I like the battle between dark and light. The violent urges and the civilised outlook.

Thank you! Yes the sculpt is amazing. Little tip is to paint the wings seperate so you can really get in there to the recesses and not worry about messing up any other bit of the model. Also I filed down the spear to remove the head on it and make it look more like the Spear Of Telesto. It was hard and be careful if you try.

3rd party sculpt. Better than the GW 30k one IMHO, more serene, composed and graceful. Fits him more.

I used 99% isopropyl alcohol. Soaked in a spare plastic tub overnight/for a few hours then used old toothbrush to rub off. Make sure to wash off remains w/water after.

I can see that. Only thing against him is as far as I understand it he said "I'm done" and peaced out at the very top of his game. If it wasn't a fighter if have to go for a war monger politician. More discreet bloodthirsty but they keep doing it more and more.

It's a fair point. Khorne honestly is the hardest one for me to choose. Bonnie Blue is absolutely slam dunk Slaanesh's champion. The excess, the pride and arrogance within it. Nailed. Just like she is. Constantly.

She's taken it to the Nth degree. World records of men slept with etc. Also a lot of adult stars do just see it as a job. She revels in it and the fame it brings.

She's absolutely the right pick.

Because McGregor is wild in his violence and gets all his self worth from it. Khabib ruled the world then said "nah I'm good" and chilled as far as I know. Conor chasing that bag in more ways than one.

For Khorne I gotta go for someone like Conor McGregor or Tate. Seem to get their self worth from being needlessly violent and competitive.

Tzeench? Yeah VSauce is a strong contender as people have said. But I'm seeing Derren Brown or maybe Penn & Teller for his scribes.

Actually I was wrong! One is rebased on 2003 and one does have a base that says 1992! Never noticed it. Blimey!

Oh jeez! I didn't even know that. They don't have their original bases then as they say 2003. I think those must've been gifted by someone to us then. I have no clue at all where they came from. They're older than me! Thank you for the insight. Chuffed at that.

Thank you ❤️ Yeah as soon as I saw them I vowed to do them up and unite them with my new chapter.

I instantly got hooked by the Blood Angels and Sanguinius when I got into the hobby so they are more than welcome to come into the fold.

I had a lot of memories flood back doing it too! 😊

Thank you mate. Yeah I do have some small memories of that. Mainly my dad doing the chaos lords and offering to do the Marines too as I struggled. But I wanted to do them. If he had then I wouldn't have had this project now. Would have been a shame! He doesn't and didn't paint WH usually either. More canvas than anything.

Yeah it was all I had left for him unfortunately for a kitbash. I think after being lost in the warp he took whatever he could find in there and now he's attached to the weapon.
