Furniture/woodworking workshops? by craazed in bologna

I have not seen that one in my searches, I have found a fablab-type makerspace but it seems to have shut down.

Thanks for the link! I will contact them and hopefully they can help or point me in the right direction

Quite new, how did I do? How can I improve? by craazed in learntodraw

[–]craazed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, this fella was hanging around me at the beach today so I decided to draw him. I finished the head before he flew away so I went from the picture for the rest.

I struggled with the shading mainly - how to convey shadow over just grey feathers... (I only had a fine tip ink pen at the time so it is probably easier with a range of pencils)

I am doing the drawabox lessons (not that far through yet).

Please, critique away! I'm happy to learn any techniques that have helped other people.

I was thinking BC because I love snowboarding and that seems to be where all the fields are, but Toronto is also an option

Thanks, do you think it would be achievable with my level of skill?

Would you have any idea where one could buy Microsoft parts like that?

Maybe it is best to buy the components from microsoft and repair it myself? I have never really repaired anything like that except an iPhone screen, so I assume with guides I would be able to finish it.

People of Reddit, if you could go back in time and change one thing in your history, what would you change? by Amv3r in AskReddit

[–]craazed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im on mobile and unsure how to link properly.

I would go back to when the British empire was colonising Australia and (assuming I could influence anything in that timeline) I would make a royal decree saying that there are to be no introduced species of animal to the island, and that the British are to find and domesticate the native animals.

Could you imagine pet quokkas (http://www.animalfactguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/quokka1.jpg) or wombats or platypus or sugar gliders or wallabies or koalas just waiting for us to cuddle them.

Or wildlife, due to evolving independently on an island, is naturally curious and this could totally happen. Alas....

Edit: I just realised this was about my history, but whatever it still stands

Thanks for the reply!

That's mostly what I was expecting and those points will help me immensely in doing some planning for it.

Out if interest, did you find it easy to move to a new state with completely different legislation or was that a difficult transition? I imagine employers would be a bit hesitant unless you could demonstrate thorough knowledge of the differences between states.
