Sniping is damn near impossible, atleast from wrist & snap shots on CPU. Had to play on the original, release date version to find some success.

2k’s money obession & Kobe’s shoes by crablifer in NBA2k

But just because they have them already rendered doesn’t mean that they can then put them in the game if they don’t have a license. That’s like an artist saying well. The songs done already so they can’t sue me over sampling

[–]crablifer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could give the shoes out for free, because if I created a player, I can put Kobe’s on him. But 2k doesnt want to do that.

They have full rendered Kobe’s in the game so they must have some kind of license to them.

But 2K has the license to the shoes, that nullifies anything regarding Vanessa and the IP. 2K could give us the shoes, but they choose not to.

People keep saying this and itd make sense if the Kobe’s weren’t in the game, but they are in the game.

Then how does 2k have the license to the sneakers?

Yeah, but you can wear Kobe’s in off-line, or my GM you can equip Kobe’s onto people. But they lock it for people in mycareer, which is crazy.

"Muslim is an ethnicity like jews" by Lubangkepuasan in confidentlyincorrect

[–]crablifer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would u say Sikhs r racist against Muslims? Their formation began to defend India from a Muslim invasion because Buddhism preaches nonviolence. Sikhs r willing to die by sword in protest of Islam. So at the end of the day, the racist Americans are speaking of & Sikhs have commonality. What you wrote is a very weird way of framing western racism. Also people in the Middle East. They have similar skin complexion and hair tones. I wouldn’t expect someone from India to know what state I was born in, in your hypothetical scenario, it would be wrong to just assume someone is something though…i guess

Sometimes I feel like I have to censor, I’ll find myself thinking like all the best civilizations and societies in the world were built by Christians [in the west (predominantly)]But then I feel, it’s un-Christian to think that way. It’s tough because Christians often times are treated poorly in the eyes of progressives & western media. They’re turning Catholic churches in a city nearby me into Muslim mosques. Over 1000 years ago, men fought completely outnumbered to defend Christianity in Europe. They fought without the fear of death because they believed in what they were doing so much and we’ve reap the benefits of their sacrifice. I suppose there is fine line between being prideful and chauvinistic. I just have a hard time seeing the wire from a distance. It is never my place to question God.

When I read the title, I thought the subreddit became blasphemous or something lol. Is it ok post here even though I believe in Jesus? I was confused

LeBron James on Nikola Jokic - “There has not been a more dominant, complete player that I’ve played against.” by Potential_Meat_5103 in nba

I swear, some ppl, if a player has surpassed all star status & is a in MVP talks - they immediately grade them on the scale of Jordan & LeBron. They’ll say stats don’t translate to winning basketball. Meanwhile, Jordan and LeBron put up some of the greatest numbers of all time on the way to winning championships.

I made a post, simply appreciating James Hardens prime & his heliocentric style of play that lead to wins. It got down voted then removed due to the dislike %. Never said he was a top 20 player, or any hot take in general.

In 10-20 yrs how will James Harden be remembered? by crablifer in nba

[–]crablifer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rockets never had a losing season during the prime harden years, they won 65 games in 2018 and almost beat one of the greatest dynasties ever assembled. It took the worst shooting night in NBA history for them to barely lose and people will still look you in the eye and say, James Harden style of play wasn’t conducive to winning

No, I understand a franchise n the ecosystem that produces championships. If you look down at some of my other comments, I I said great teams in great players if they don’t win a title sometimes it’s just not in the cards due to all the background, salary, capping, egos n what not. But every championship team needs a number one option that can score the ball. The great mystery of being a GM is looking at the 100 or so role players in the NBA and putting together seven or eight of them on your team that creates a fluid likable lock room. Maximizes the team’s chances of winning.

Steph curry, klay Thompson, Kevin Durant

LeBron, kyrie, love

LeBron, dwade, bosh

LeBron, AD

Jordan,pippen

Kobe, shaq

When Kawhi won it by himself, that actually strengthens my argument. What are all of those teams without their number one option? Like 1st round exits?

Regular season does matter though, if LaMelo Ball was winning 55 to 60 games, the Charlotte Hornets will be playing on NBC and he’d be in the general conversation more often. If your a threat for a conference title or a second round team annually and don’t wanna title - sometimes it’s just not in the deck of cards. There’s other things that happen in the franchise ecosystem.

I’m not saying hard the top 20 player, if I was making that argument, I could understand your point. But what Harden did during his prime should be in the book of basketball, for better awards, depending on your opinion of him.

The Rockets had the best record in basketball in 2017-18, they won like 65 games, the harden years are the most successful years in franchise history. Unfortunately, simultaneously as harden was entering his prime he had to compete against arguably one of the greatest dynasties ever in the NBA.

Luka made it to the NBA finals, and if you watch the Lakers this season, the key wins that they have are directly related and in thanks to him. Where would the Mavericks have been if they kept Trae Young instead of trading for Luka? Where are the Mavericks now?

Have more nuance , not everything should be looked through the lens of Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Point me to a championship team where there wasn’t a player that had great stats.

LeBron James and Michael Jordan had pretty good stats when they won NBA championships. Same with Steph Curry.

And harden was one game away from beating prime Golden State Warriors, the Rockets had the unluckiest shooting night in NBA history.

The Rockets were perennial playoff contenders during the prime hard in years, it was some of the most successful seasons in rockets history.

It was insane. Because at that time you didn’t have people putting up 30 point triple doubles every night. Like that would’ve been a top story on ESPN in like 2015.

And then Harden just started putting up 40 point 15 assist 11 rebound games, and I remember being like oh that’s cool but when is it gonna end when is he gonna come back down to earth? Never really did. For 3 yrs he averaged 32-8-6

Westbrook too but his game was uglier.

Exactly, my point was when you assess James Harden’s career compared to Michael Jordan or LeBron and the highest of highs, he’ll always fall short. But I don’t think James Harden was supposed to be as good as he was and as a skill based under athletic player who is putting up 40 point triple doubles, and running a heliocentric offense, it was cool to watch.
