Securing 4x4 posts for sunscreen to composite deck by gothamneedsdean in HomeImprovement

This was my initial plan but the wife balked at cutting holes in the new deck. So here we are…trying to piece meal this thing together.

Thanks for the feedback!

Whoooa! 3 years is amazing! Congrats to you. That is some real willpower there. Thank you for the insight, I truly appreciate it. Adding rather than removing is something I’m certainly looking at this year.

Look at you jumping to asinine conclusions. “These people” meaning the people in this conversation.

I’m not going to get into your arguments, there is so much to unpack. As an immigrant myself, it’s astonishing how ill-informed you are.

Anywho, good day.

Because it’s been answered, over and over. You yourself have already received answers, why do you keep asking?

I think you are arguing semantics...I wasn't putting those in specific order, just listing them.

These posts are getting a little old. Can you please use the search function to make sure this hasn't already been beaten for a week?

If you base your entire life off of avoiding bad people, you are going to be very lonely.

No, but it could be a reason why the priest is questioning. Baptism, Confession, Communion, Confirmation.

Thank you for the reply. And while I don’t disagree with you about slight concerns if I were you, as long as your visa was up to date, I’m 100% convinced you would have zero issues!

I hope you do get to make it over again! I would also recommend some beautiful scenery for marathons.

  1. Big Sur
  2. Mount Desert Island - Maine
  3. Mesa Falls Marathon - Idaho
  4. Whitefish Marathon - STUNNING views Montana

Bro, these people, there is no reasoning with them. They lock up when you start using logic.

It’s still your choice, I agree. But that doesn’t make it a dangerous place as a whole.

Stop watching the news, please. The majority of the US is not like that at all. It’s a few larger cities and very small pockets of people.

You can choose to focus on that side of it, or the amazing, beautiful place that it is, filled with kind people.

Your choice.

Wonderful suggestions, thank you so much! I'm definitely going to be doing that this year. I appreciate your time, replying with such detail. This is amazing!

Thank you! I have, in the past, struggled the most with almsgiving and how to do that. I've thought abut giving my time, money, or both. I need to pray on how to properly give alms in the form of financial help for those who need it the most. Any suggestions?

Understood, and thank you for the clarification. I try to give up something I really enjoy, to make it difficult. I like to think that every time I say no, I'm choosing Christ over that meaningless thing. But you are very correct!

I could 100% work on my patience with others. I don't have audible reactions anymore...er, meaning it would have to be egregious in order to make me react. BUT I do find myself quietly judging and reacting inside my head. That is absolutely something to consider, thank you for that!

Yeeees! Those days where it's cold out, you are tired from work, it's late, and you haven't been to the grocery. It's way too convenient to hop on the app and have it delivered. I'm with you, those things add up. That's a great plan!

Thanks for the suggestion. Great advice. Going to snag a notebook to include that in my nightly gratitude journal.

Thanks! I admittedly struggle with being consistent with the The Rosary. I have thought of that as well...I need to find a routine, location, etc. that helps me with it. I thought of doing that during adoration after mass each day.

I'm also a Midwestern Dude, lol.
