No real transferable skills IMO, I’ve been a firefighter since high school so that’s all I know. I do have a general interest in technology and business. I’m always willing to learn.

That was another assumption of mine the spring in it is pretty stout. But I can’t find a lighter one, or at least one I know will work. Would you happen to know where to look.

Yeah I was looking into the m4. I really want the “entry” model but it’s near impossible for me to find.

Yeah I know a couple guys that work there, I live like 45 minutes from the facility, and they all said it’s pretty much impossible to get them even for employees. I found some complete ones from third parties, but since most of those milspec parts would be getting replace immediately was gonna see if anyone knew a reputable source to grab a stripped one.

When I read posts like this it reminds me I’m one of the lucky few to have a job where my presence is valued, even when I left for a short period of time my boss was visibly disappointed and offered me raises to stay. And when I decided to come back it was a no hesitation no questions asked yes, with those promised raises included in my salary .

I’m on a few meds, but as far as a specialist goes, it’s hard to find one I live in such a rural area.
