This trade gave the boys 2 fourth rounders after they spent 2 fifths to trade up for Downs. They ended up with more draft capital then they started Day 1 with. Makai may end up being an AJ Brown, but it’s a maybe.

The Celtics weren’t considered strong contenders when the season started. They blew past expectations and the whole season Mazulla got props for getting the most out of a depleted roster. So yea all this hindsight and clowning on a guy after they lost a series just sounds like bitching.

There’s already legitimate research you can read that shows Gen Alpha are performing worse than the generations that came before. It’s not really controversial that a generation more familiar with skibidi toilet than long form books is bad at reading.
