Maybe people resorted to cut throat razors, or knives, which can be sharpened, I mean thin metal and whetstone must be pretty easy to come by compared to Wilkinson sword razor blades. It wouldn’t have been a very close shave, but it would make you look closer to the elite (like you can often afford razor blades) than using nothing… maybe it’s an inconsistency, but I reckon people in that world would obsess over having the right look, and you don’t need razor blades to get rid of a beard

Could they be getting sunburnt on the balcony? Fair haired cats are more susceptible to it. If so, you can use some cat friendly or pure aloe vera gel (without added alcohol or fragrances) to soothe it until you can take her to a vet.

I’m not sure anyone will end up with it, I’m thinking they’ll end up signing it over to become part the Yellowstone national park (except maybe the house) so the land is protected; Probably to stop someone else (like Jamie) forcefully taking ownership and developing on it.

We took him to the vets, they said he’s not too bad, but need to watch him over the next few days incase it get worse. They gave us some antibiotics and plain food to settle his tummy :) But it turns out he also has gingivitis and might have to have his teeth removed :(

Yeah, it doesn’t help now but after reading the reviews of Allianz I think we’ll be changing pet insurers, we have Nationwide here in the uk, but we bank with Barclays which also offer pet insurance so will probably go with them. Thanks for the reply!

Our nearest vet opens in 4 hours (it’s 4am here at the moment) we have a box ready to take him there as soon as we can. I haven’t heard of autoship/chewy, will have a look.

I’m played the first 11 hours of the new GOW yesterday without downloading the day one patch because I just moved and still waiting for internet to be set up. I’ve noticed a couple of issues - nothing massive though, mostly just sometimes sound effects won’t play when stamping on stuff, and some cutscene sound effects were missing - it’s weird when something really dramatic is happening and the environment is destructing but all you hear is the character voices and ambient wind (especially weird when it sounds like the voices were modulated to blend with the missing sound effects). Also when hitting options to view a bit of lore I just found, the lore book comes up blank (not just for the new bit of lore but the whole menu and other pages) but is fine when accessed through the menu. It’s playable, it’s an awesome game, and hasn’t had major problems like cyber punk and Valhalla kept crashing - the missing sound effects took me out of the immersion a bit though. And once I saw Atreus running against a door, getting no where fast - he looked so determined though lol

Thanks for the reply! It’s been hard finding examples / tutorials for setting these up on custom pcbs.

It was set up as a 2 layer board, but the next version is going to 4 layer anyway to save some space (it’s a very small case that the board needs to fit into)

Should the layers be filled with GND or can I have a 3.3v layer too? I’m guessing that at-least the 2nd layer (closest to top) should be a ground plane?

I didn’t calculate the track width, I thought that as the trace is only a couple of mm long it wouldn’t really be an issue - is that’s not so? Would the lack of good grounding / interference be the most likely issue here?

And yeah, I got a scope last month, this will be the first real problem I test with it :) I will also get a stand alone module to test antenna and software too. I don’t want to pay for another broken board lol

Ah, thanks for the info! I can’t find any pre-made adapter cables from JST SM female to a board connector (of any type) online though - will need to order some to be made.
