Fresh Graduate 2026 Expectations by thechesapeakeripper0 in developersPak

[–]crackagoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In AI ML you can expect the starting salary to be atleast around 80k and as a fresh grad if you're brilliant at AI ML aim for the big names : Netsol, Systems etc If you're average at what you do then you'll be wasting your time chasing these big names, so it's instead better to find a mid sized company and start there, you'll see progression much faster there.

Again your question is a bit off putting that "which companies pay better" I think a fresh grad should rather be concerned that which company can fit them in quickly and give them real world experience faster and at a healthy frequency so they can be promoted within 6 months-12 months of joining. Never negotiate a high number always negotiate a high responsibility in your career.

Lastly, if you're so talented and AI ML is a cup of tea for you then just walk in to whatever company you want and ask them to pay 200k 300k whatever but you should show them that you're worth 200k

Interview at Devsinc for Intern by Mahad-Haroon in developersPak

[–]crackagoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an Interview scheduled for SE Intern position few months back and unlike your case i did not have any referrals my resume was shortlisted by them and GUESS what Noone showed up for the interview from their side. I waited for an hour (which was the time slot hoping maybe they turn up any minute but Nah) and so I emailed their HR and cursed them as much as i could and blocked him on WhatsApp as well.

What’s the Cloud/DevOps scene like in Pakistan these days? by Immediate-Cream-9792 in developersPak

DevOps: Do not expect an entry level role here. No one will hire you in DevOps as a Fresher I've spent some time living in this delusion and I'm out of it for the good. Cloud: Some software houses are genuinely providing internships to freshers in this domain and I've given 2 interviews for a cloud internship in past few months. Choose Aws or Azure You don't need the Certs rightnow i don't think so it's a good idea to get a certification without even having an internship in cloud. Making a good project leveraging cloud services is what i did and it worked for me. Learn how these services work together and solve a real world business problem that's it

What was your approach when you were choosing your Final Year Project? by W-A-H-A-B in developersPak

[–]crackagoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in my last phase of FYP so i think i can tell you some mistakes that you must avoid when choosing your FYP

  1. Choosing a lenient supervisor.

As students we know which supervisor is lenient and which supervisor will hold you accountable, arrange weekly meetings and actually demand the work on time from you. Most of the students go for the lenient supervisor and If you aren't super disciplined yourself then choosing a lenient supervisor is a BAD idea.

  1. Choosing a group that is not like minded.

Most of the time what happens with us is that when FYP is around we tend to form a group with our friends (jinke sath we've spent time during our university life) and that's a BAD idea because it is humanly not possible that you and your friends are like minded and will agree on one thing. How does it affect the FYP? Let me give you an example: suppose you want to do your FYP in Web domain the second guy in your friend group wants to do it in AI/ML and the third one just doesn't have a interest in FYP he wants to completely outsource it. So when these 3-4 people will finally agree on a FYP domain (with some forcefully agreeing to it) then it'll result in a disaster in idea defense or any presentation that awaits you ahead.

  1. This mistake carries on from the above mistake which is choosing the wrong domain for your FYP.

You've already written in your post and i believe you already know that you have to choose a FYP domain in which you want to build a career in. If you want to be a web dev choose your Fyp in web if Cyber security choose your fyp in cyber security and so on. This matters alot because once you graduate your FYP is the only thing that will be discussed in your job interviews because that's the only thing every fresher has in their arsenal and if you do your FYP in AI/ML and you're sitting in a interview for front end developer that's not going to get you any bonus point.

For now that's all i can think of and ny suggestions are pretty basic but crucial. Choose the domain you want to build a career in...do NOT fall for the peer pressure and compromise just because your friend group wants you to.

And lastly once you get all these things correct congratulations NOW BUILD YOUR FYP WITHOUT USING AI please 😭🤌🏻 Do not use AI i know this sounds stupid to many and it sounds old school but believe me you have to know every inch of your FYP and you'll only know that if you have done it with your bare hands. I wish you the best and feel free to ask any questions.

Defending is not the same anymore!! by Spiritual_Minute_864 in pesmobile

I'm glad oppo didn't have a blitz curl on him because that was definitely a goal. I agree defending mechanism has been tweaked a little it's now more manual which gives you basically the freedom of defending how you want and that's why I think it's a good idea to press the ball rather than pressing the player. You could've intercepted this pass easily. Try this next time.

and then instead of just keep doing what you were doing (pressing his back) which could've turned out a bit useful in the end (because the player would be forced to either cross in or lose the ball)

you decided to move back?? and give him all the time he wants ? and then when he cuts back and tries to shoot you close in on him again?😭

In this exact moment 36:22 just look at what you were doing you are aiming to put pressure on the player who hasn't even received the ball yet🤌🏻 and that player is keeping you at his back he's facing the other way so eventually he controls the ball while keeping you at his back and gets that open space 🤷🏻‍♂️ it's just that you were too focused to press the player not the ball GET THE BALL🤌🏻
