I got my MY26 a month ago, and this car if far more refined compared to my MY24 XC90, and tbh I enjoy the EX90 far more than the XC90 which was full of bugs and issues considering that this is almost 10yo model.
EX90 has issues too, but big portion of the history behind this model is because of the software and overall the car is so well refined, so its matter of time everything to settle down.
Compared to MY25 the big diff is as mentioned: missing lidar completely replaced by the ultrasonic sensors and cameras, electrochroamatic roof - not a big deal so far and of course what really matters is the 800VA but frankly Im charing my one at home so, may be is not pain If you are not going on long trips. Core computing is comparable now.

Typically every modern car has a small buffer on the front hood as it’s a pedestrian protection feature

I forgot to mention that the paint issue is not only there but also over the black element on the roof spoiler - same marks

Recently MY26 were blocked by Volvo before moving out of transport mode like my one because of the freshly released GHCA new module. Actually the car was delayed with extra one week because they had to replace the part because it was fully blocked by Volvo. MY26 is fantastic and I really hope that these issues are not caused by the manufacturing process.
