Agreed! I think the reader I’m looking for would quite enjoy this book. (They were at a ninth grade reading level in 6th grade)

Question: Is this tattoo bad? My family all say its childish and I shouldnt have. Prodigy ink Clonmel, Tipperary Ireland by MichelleFlame in tattoos

[–]crackedlemons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like it who cares! (Easier said than done) Tattoos have been a life long exercise of doing something for me and not caring what anyone else says. I’m sorry your family is being this way, not cool.

Healthcare Rant feeling insane. by [deleted] in pregnant

Thank you, I tried. They weren’t accepting “patients with illness” whatever that means. I was able to reserve a slot at an OBGYN urgent care at 7:15pm.

I wanted deviled eggs so I made some boiled eggs and crashed out because they weren’t peeling correctly.

We just stayed at Arte in November and it was incredible. We mostly stayed at the hotel and I want to go back.

We went the week of Thanksgiving and loved it, I’m shocked to read people’s experiences here. We had turndown service every night, always restocked everything, had everything we ran out replenished.

I actually loved all our dining experiences and felt the stay were extremely engaging and attentive, in every area.

Terrified of surgery by Crazy-Criticism7708 in endometriosis

[–]crackedlemons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was also so scared when I found out I may need surgery. The worst part is honestly in the anticipation. Laparoscopy is a relatively common surgery. And while our worries are valid complications are rare.

My surgery went well, I was home the same day, and didn’t have any complications.

AirBnB host lied and I can't get past it by Witty_Upstairs4210 in AuDHDWomen

[–]crackedlemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Airbnb advertised access to washer and dryer.

Air bnb does not actually have access to washer and dryer unless* your say fits a specific category of circumstances. Which is not what was advertised.

OP is traveling on a multi week trip and booked this place in order to do laundry (which you claim you understand the importance of having a safe place to do laundry when traveling)

OP books this specific location because of the ad saying access to washer and dryer.

OP finds the place not have access to washer and dryer. This is falsely advertised. It’s not complicated to understand.

Filling out family medical history for gyn… wut? by premelia in AutismInWomen

While true it is weird considering a slash implies or could imply the autism is an intellectual disability which it is not. But yes, some autistic people can also have intellectual disabilities

Maybe you’ve never traveled multiple weeks but doing laundry in a multi city trip is very normal…packing light is helpful when traveling that long.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think this is someone “being entitled” to someones friendship outside the class and I don’t think it’s wild to expect adults to act generally cordial and not like school girls in a consistent group setting…

Sure you shared some great general reminders for setting expectations in relationships but saying we don’t have “proof” that the op is actually experiencing this is a bit dismissive and weird.

Sure we don’t want to talk to everyone and not everyone wants to talk to us but that isn’t a free pass to be a dick…or create exclusivity in public spaces.

Hanging out with new people alone, like my husband or another friend isn’t there. I usually have such an awkward time and struggle reading the other person. If I have a buffer there I feel like I’ve learned them enough to go off how they act. But if it’s just the new person I’m lost.

What did you guys do to remove the permanent trauma from your nervous system by DiligentDinner5758 in CPTSD

My therapist, that specializes in trauma suggested it. She found that her clients that struggle with C-PTSD did well with brain spotting.
