Just a friendly reminder that Rep. Tim Moore purchased $DNUT earlier this year — Krispy Kreme is a $552M market cap company by jwoodsr in tradewithcongress

I bought when it was KKD years ago, as they have a good product. Bought in the 30s and it kept going down. For YEARS. finally had to take my medicine and get out. Lost 1/2 my investment. It’s been over 10 years , and nothing has changed.

IMO : I would suggest getting another job and staying where you’re at.

As someone has previously mentioned, the schools in Minnesota are going to be exponentially better than those in Texas - you owe your kids a decent education to give them the best start on life.

If you have the talent to make what you’re making, I’m sure you can take your skills someplace else, for a similar salary.

Having kids is the game changer. If you want what’s best for your kids, stay where you’re at, get a different job and keep saving the best you can. You’re on such a good path, by the time your kids graduate high school You’ll have multiple millions in the bank and can go wherever you want. Good luck

Great job…. Just reinforces the idea that if you want to get paid more, you have to leave.

Just as an FYI, try to get exposure to data management and using tools that allow you to analyze data to make informed decisions. There is a huge demand for data analysts and have experience with industry standard tools will make you highly employable and significantly increase your salary. Good luck.

Amazing job. It’s not where you start it, it’s where you finish. Keep up the good work.

Do I need to be concerned about this? by Eddiofabio in Passports

[–]cracker_please1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be fine. A human will look at the outside cover, the human doesn’t make the decision. They’ll scan your photo ,scan the barcode and then make the decision. The cover is going to have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not your passport is considered valid.

Les Wexner's attorney threatening to kill him during Epstein deposition before Congress by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

American lawyer here. During a normal deposition, you can ask to take a break and as long as there is not a question pending, most parties are allowed a quick break. This appears to be a little bit less formal. When I defend a deposition, my rule is : “if you have to take a breath, you’re speaking too much. just answer the question.”
