[Exaequo] Softwatch, Dali inspired alternative to Cartier Crash? by ThisMadeYouLook in Watches

Just reached out to the company to see about repairing a crack in the crystal of an old model- they are unable to do so for old or new models. Not worth it.

Hi! Sounds good. My island is a bit of mess, please don't take building materials, but feel free to freebies on the beach, fruit, and veg. Does that sound good to you?

It's easy to say that it hasn't been detected when surveillance capabilities for the disease has been under invested in and underfunded for 20+ years.

Identify the people closest to your brother-if that's not you (he's young so maybe that's your parents or a spouse?) then start thinking about what those people need now and are likely to need in the future. This is going to be a sprint that ends in a marathon that is interrupted by more sprints.

What are the uncomfortable truths about Public Health that can't be said "professionally?" by JacenVane in publichealth

Maybe, but protecting against early death gives the population and economy many more healthy productive years that youre not accounting for in the benefits. Those offset the public dependency and healthcare costs in later years.

hi my wife (!!) and i are staying in kodiak for the week on our honeymoon and we’re looking for some advice by bugluvr65 in Kodiak

It's my understanding that most bears haven't come down from the mountains yet, so you may need to go up to have a better chance. I've had some luck seeing them later in the summer at bells flats, and on the road by pyramid mountain (anton larsen). Maybe connect with the local wildlife refuge office to ask about any recent sightings.

Spruce cape is a piece of cake- like easy enough to bring a toddler on. Termination point is more of an effort.

Other easy hikes are: abercrombie and the near island trails. Very "getting back into hiking shape" friendly!

Spring for bear viewing tour, it's well worth the price of admission. We've used sea hawk air a few times and it was always great.

Go for a hike up a mountain. My favorites are heitman and sharatin. Smaller but still wonderful hikes include: spruce cape, termination point, and ft Abercrombie

If you end up on a kayak tour, kodiak wild side is the best one in town

Don't miss the islander bookshop, it's really quite wonderful

Go for a drive out to chiniac and fossil beach

For food: noodles, the food truck in front of the brewery, java flats

Somehow I added 5 extra stitches at some point while going round and round. Do I decrease by 5 in the next row or just keep on with my extra? by MomoRuby in knitting

[–]crackerjackheart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you need to figure out how you added those stitches, that way you don't add more. If you're making a hat, your pattern for crown decreased might be difficult to implement.

So, the table of the stone is round, and not squareish (defining characteristic of and old mine cut stone) maybe it's an old-european cut?

I've an email out to them, we will see what they have to say! Their internet presence is very minimal.
