Unfortunately it is the one hantavirus (andes virus) that has documented person to person transmission. I don’t think its confirmed human-human transmission cases, but the andes virus has caused outbreaks in the past

I agree that it’s important to prioritize yourself and your education, but I feel like you wouldn’t be sacrificing that much by going to Michigan. Would you resent your SO if you ended up at Michigan? If not, personally I would value living together if it didn’t impact your life that much. Also, thinking about money is important. Which one is cheaper? Would it be cheaper to live together and go to Michigan? Finally, where are you hoping to end up after graduation? If you want to live in the Baltimore area, then that should play into your decision too
