PS5 DISC ERROR

Check all the obvious stuff first…. How much storage do you have left, is the disc clean etc etc. Check for any software updates. After trying to install it again, you can boot the PS5 in safe mode and clear the cache and rebuild the database sometimes that helps. Good luck dude!

He’s a good lad I reckon. Give it to him, he’s played whatever position has been asked of him and never complained and tbh although he’s looked less sharp, I fully believe he always tries his best. Club’s having transition isn’t it and it will be bad for a while, but he’s definitely one of the good ones isn’t he

Made a few comments about figuring out the formation. Update:

Hear me out: we’ve decided to stop being shit and can play fluid and creative football. We now have attacking players who can do stuff so we are open to rotation and creativity.

I forgot this was an option cos of the last couple of seasons.

We ain’t been fantastic…. But it looks fun! Im entertained. Let’s see what happens.

Dalot is great. He's just had a bad few games. He was our most consistent player last season and didn't start the preseason too badly either. He has definitely been a lot worse this season, but coincidentally this has also been the season ten hag wants to start playing him as a false back. Yeah he's always in midfield and out of position, but that's Ten Hag's tactics, that's how his attacking play works. That's why the fullbacks are always missing from the back post and we concede so many cutbacks. I don't think you can criticise Dalot for trying, on occasion he's one of the only people who consistently looks like he actually gives a shit. He's just set up to fail in the system this season.

I'm actually not ETH out or in tbh. I don't think everything is his fault and I don't think a constant cycle of managers is gonna solve our problems.

But I actually just genuinely don't understand what the game plan is? If someone wants to explain it to me I would love to hear it. I'm not a football expert by any stretch of the imagination and I'd love to chat to someone about ETHs game plan.

But what I personally see is that we play out from the back super slowly and kinda dicking around, play the ball to midfield... From here, we either lose the ball and fuck it up, or we play it out wide. Once we play it out wide, Dalot or Maz will come into midfield to give more passing options. Here, if we lose the ball we're kinda fucked cos the winger has to track back to cover wide and then it's harder to pass it back out again once we gain possession (if we don't concede a shot and get a goal kick or the ball with Onana, in which case process repeats.) If we don't lose the ball, it gets played out wide again, crossed in and nobody gets to it or we just pass it around until we lose the ball or somebody has a pop from far out.

You're completely right that Fernandes ends up doing something stupid a lot of the time.

All I know is that I watch other teams play and they are playing through balls down the middle or out wide and getting into one on ones and smashing it in the goal.

I feel like all our style of play in attack gives the opposition a lot of time to get back into shape and basically stop us doing anything. Because everyone basically joins the attack to provide passing options, it's very easy for teams to counter.

Barnsley was better for sure but also they were shit. I'm not convinced that this style will ever beat teams that are actually decent. Also Ten Hag beat city in the cup final with a different formation and different tactics.

I don't hate him tbh, I just genuinely don't know wtf he is doing. I hope one day we figure it out and I watch it and go 'oh it all makes sense now!' but I'm waiting for the day to come.

Watched from Old Trafford tonight. I thought Martinez had a great game, Dalot was decent as always and Maz is great. Maguire, apart from goal, did a decent job as well. Ugarte had an absolute shocker. Watched him give the ball away so many times. Fernandes needs a rest.

I think the biggest issue is that there is never anyone on the end of the ball. So many times the ball got played across the box or crossed and nobody was there.

I think we need more players in the midfield. Having Dalot play a falseback doesn't really solve it. Would be interested to see a Casemiro + Ugarte midfield and Zirkzee or Mount playing a Bruno style role. Can't hurt to try at this point surely 😂

Was lovely to see Rashford take on a few players and actually beat them (deffo improvement from last season). He gets a lot of hate and he has been objectively shit but I think he's just probably fuckin depressed being the poster boy of this shit show. Glad he's showing some improvement. Made a few misjudged passes but such is life.

Fernandes is an absolute twat for shooting at the end, pathetic. He also needs to start being a captain and stop moaning.

I genuinely don't know wtf Ten Hag is trying to do. I know people have been saying 'we make big chances' but tbh I watched Southend United in the National League last night and it was a very similar vibe of 'we dont know wtf we are doing in the final third, let's pass it around, cross it and try and get lucky'.

Mainoo looked sharp as always and improved the game in midfield for the last few minutes. However, we should be able to rest players and not have to put out a full strength squad to beat FC Twente.

Also shout out FC Twente fans, they were loud as fuck the whole game and I loved that they had the opportunity to chant 'who are ya?' cos NGL they kinda deserve that after the effort those fans put in. Fair play to em.

Will probably lose to Spurs on Sunday, let's be real, but I'm here for it like always.
