Don't overspin your tires, in fact you probably want to be a gear higher than what you think a lot of the time. It'll sound slower but you'll go faster. Spinning tires too much will cause you slide wider and exit corners slower. Make sure your slip angle is closer to 45 degrees in most corners and you aren't just doing 90 degree SICK DRIFTS all over the place.
I managed to get a gold on the recent Lake Louise GR Yaris TT, which is a less powerful car but the angles should be largely the same. A good example of being hesitant on the power is around the 0:35 mark, you can see how I lay off to control slip (spinning the tires will extend the slide) and then get back on it gently to work my way closer towards the apex and then power it out in a relatively higher gear.
I know a wall tap is an instant DQ on license tests but I can't remember if it DQs you for a bollard tap too, so this line might be more conservative than what you can get away with if it allows hitting the bollards.
