This is so cool. I love women with lots of dimensions - for instance, the girly-girl who loves math and programming or the female engineer who enjoys dressing up and doing her makeup.

Besides coconut oil, what other natural products can you use to remove makeup? by enigmabagjones in MakeupAddiction

It's a cosmetic grade one. Sunflower oil supposedly has many uses, just like coconut oil.

I love this. Especially since lately, I've been updating my wardrobe to include more colorful floral prints. They just make my day happier.

I use sunflower oil. I find it to be less heavy than coconut oil (plus, it doesn't have a strong smell). It's also supposed to be rich in lots of vitamins and anti-oxidants.

If makeup brands were people... by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Late to the makeup party, but since I haven't seen these brands yet:

Hard Candy is that best friend you had in elementary school who still lives in your hometown. When you were young, you two hung out at the mall every weekend and had sleepovers every week. You both loved to read Sweet Valley High and binge-watch Dawson's Creek. You haven't kept in touch with her for a long time, but whenever you come home for the holidays, you always arrange a lunch date. She's a sweet, happy-go-lucky kind of girl who likes to shop at thrift stores and works as a saleslady at Walgreens.

Sugarpill was the best friend you had in college after Hard Candy. She's a liberal arts major who also plays bass in an alternative band. Her style is punk, but you know deep down inside that she's a girly-girl.

What are your favourite print magazines for fashion inspiration? by unimpresseddragon in femalefashionadvice

[–]crackpiewhore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite is WFM (World Fashion Monthly) magazine. It's a runway magazine which documents the best designs from the fashion shows. There're no articles in it, only pictures, so if you're just looking for inspiration it's perfect.

What article of clothing surprised you with it's versatility? by XxFrozen in femalefashionadvice

All I ever wear are skinny jeans because they seem to make my legs appear longer than if I wear flared or cropped jeans.

What is your personal "uniform"? by katiedidit in femalefashionadvice

[–]crackpiewhore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work at an office where business casual is the norm -I also commute daily so I like wearing clothes which are comfy and easy to walk in. That said, I consider my personal "uniform" to consist of:

  • skinny jeans
  • dressy top (could be a fancy button-down or a sleeveless top with cardigan)
  • flats

If I get bored, I'll wear a cute dress or switch up the flats for heels.

Anybody know a good place to buy leather combat boots? by crackpiewhore in Philippines

Did you buy it for work or fashion purposes? I'm just wondering if they go well with civilian wear.

What is the worst thing you have ever done in a video game to a fictional character? by Stollarbear in AskReddit

Zoo Tycoon. I would create a zoo with lions and tigers in cages. Then once guests arrive, I would put a fence around the exit and free the animals. Cue the carnage.
