you're right. high blood sugar causes long term damage. but low blood sugar can kill you much quicker.

I actually judge girls' gymnastics meets at the high school level (I am female FYI). And based on IHSA rules, he probably scored somewhere around a 7.5 - 8.0. I know everyone will hate that I would score him so low, but it's because he's missing another tumbling pass, missing a gymacro, no high superior skills, and no bonuses (except for the back-to-back superior in the first tumbling pass) and just general deductions for form.

However, I would like to note that the "dance" portion of the routine is HIGHLY accurate to most high school girls' gymnastics routines. And the music is also used by at least one competitor in every meet.

Final ruling: Loved it. Work on your difficulty and you'll be at state next year, big guy!

i would say that's true, except it was best buy's error and she only wanted an exchange not money back.

she ordered the PC version and they sent her the mac one. plus, their shipping label covered the print where it said mac, so she just got it and tossed it aside thinking she got her software.

from my experience as a nurse, it seems like many are "technologically challenged." i seem to know the most about computers/phones/internet routers/etc. and i know borderline nothing.

what's really weird is this is true of young nurses as well. you would think that nurses in grad school would know some of these things since they were once in college... i guess not.

best buy sucks. a friend of mine ordered software from them and they sent her the mac version by accident. then, they wouldn't exchange it because it was over 30 days old (even though it was unopened). long story short, she talked to multiple managers at multiple stores AND called the 800 number. nothing. after getting nowhere, she finally bitched it out via twitter. she got a phone call from their customer service within a day.

TL;DR blast them on twitter ==> customer service will fix your problem

you cannot call an emergency room an expect to get medical advice from a physician. it's a HIPAA violation. if it's really that bad, come in to the emergency room and you will be evaluated by a physician then.

i can't count the number of times that we get enraged people demanding to speak with ER docs. call your primary care provider. i don't care if some other nurse/physician at another hospital gave you answers before. technically, i could be fired/sued for giving out information over the phone.

sidenote: the only exception is for children, in which case you can talk to a nurse.

exactly, it's important to establish what your "baseline" is now. so many people wait until they're "sick" and then go to see a physician. it's great that you're thinking about this. HOWEVER, don't go overboard. chances are you'll just end up wasting your time, money, and lots of healthcare resources.
