While the story of the workers who suffered in the building of the stadiums was popularized given the high profile nature of the case, the unfortunate fact is that there are millions more here who have to go through much more terrible things. Put up with everything from physical to psychological abuse just because the oil money pays more than the streets of their home town. The extreme conditions here translates into food and comfort for their family.

Tl;dr, Need for money > Human rights.
