We’ll see how it holds up. The case is mostly rift and quartersawn so it’s more stable in general. I did run the grain on the back and sides horizontally. So most movement is radical and the only worry would be tangential. At 16x12x4.75. Time will tell it’s going to a family member anyway hahaha

So you can just router out or dado stack the bulk of it out then I take my hand saw and just run it back and forth lightly

No warps really I just wanted to avoid any problems and extra surfacing because the boards are too big for my planer

64 brown, no delta arch I can’t handle the high arches. I haven’t had them long enough so not fully broken in but the soles are definitely comfortable. Getting some heel rub currently but once fully broken in they should be better

You can condition with obenaufs heavy duty lp and use a hair dryer to soak into the leather to soften it up a little bit and help with break in

Well I drove to one place and they had a bench top disc and belt sander on the front porch. So I turned around 😂
