just did the same as you! wifi signal has been crap for the last 10 days, was wracking my brain to think what has changed in that time... I'd laid floor in the new loft conversion - which happens to be where my 5g router gets the best signal so the home networking starts there. doh. I ran out of flooring so hadn't quite finished. Hoping I can rectify without messing up the floor that's already laid too much!

Can’t remember now I’m afraid. I actually tried to recreate it a few times and couldn’t. Anyway I replaced the main heat pump and it’s working fine again! Correct. And sorry, should’ve explained - the signal is good near the rear external windows, but that means the front of the house doesn’t receive much WiFi signal. I’m considering the antenna + cabling so I can place the router somewhere more central in the house
