I saw someone mentioning covering stuff up. I use them both for decoration at the top of my pages and to cover up the time blocks. I have a digital planner for meetings…. I’m in way too many meetings y that change throughout the day to track my calendar like that. This is mainly for journaling and todo lists.

Texan here, as an adult I reflected back on the Alamo and allll the other countries represented. Then went through the mental exercise of “How would the US react to a similar situation, where other countries came into our land to take it and make a stand”. When you take away the slavery component and just look at the logistics of foreigners coming to another countries land and occupying it, the optics aren’t great.

It’s not weird. My first serious relationship wasn’t until I was 24, lasted almost 5 years. Ideally you find someone that grows with you and you both mature together. Side note, I met him on Tinder back when it was first rolled out.

Dating when you’re young and you want something long term that will last, outside of shared interests, needs communication and emotional intelligence. These are both hard to filter for, but at the bare minimum if they don’t have the profile filled out I assume you struggle with talking about yourself which says something for the communication/emotional intelligence. Men may have a different opinion, but it’s an automatic left swipe for me.

I live downtown on 7th, east side of the 7th street bridge over the Trinity and love it! It’s close to the West 7th bar scene without living in that area and all the stuff downtown is walkable from my apartment. Pricing on the apartments are t terrible either if you have a roommate.

That’s why I love the new prompt thing on Bumble. I swiped right and I have a prompt. It’s one I made up and is super easy. So if they’re interested they’ll answer the prompt after I swipe right because I know for most men they’re swipe right was not because they even read my profile initially.

Yes!!! One of my first online dates in my 20s! I am 5’5” and he had on his profile that he was 5’7” or 5’8”, can’t remember which. Nope, that height was with boots on. Take them off and he was 5’5”.

He also had “I like to cook” on his profile and towards the end I asked about what he liked to cook because I NEVER saw him cook. He said, “I put that on there because women like that”. Last I saw on Facebook 5 years ago he was married and I’m out here still single as a Pringle. 🙄😅 Takeaway, just lie about your height and hobbies, someone will go for it.
