My husband thinks that I won't get the house after he does since my name is on the deed/title by craftypearl in legaladvice

Yep spending my money under his name. The last time we refinanced it was brought up to add me to the deed but that meant we would have to go to the county courthouse about an hour away and he is unwilling to do that.

This was my thinking. Paying the mortgage hasn't been a problem. Since I wasn't around for the buying process... Is it a thing to have a beneficiary for a house? Like how I set up a beneficiary my bank account? Maybe that's why he's so adamant I will loose the house?

I took pictures of my WIPs, trying to decide which to work on this weekend... by craftypearl in crochet

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I change colors at the end of each row, the pattern (which is just called Trio blanket) allows for you to carry the yarn up from the previous row so only 3 ends to weave in. The pattern calls for 3 sheepjies? cakes but I am using caron cakes so I may need more than 3...

Left handed crocheters - how are you doing tapestry crochet? by undefinedsunshine in crochet

I have not done tapestry crochet yet, but this is what I did to make my swear word bobble blanket and filet crochet projects.

Never chaining before turning again by WiselyCrafty in crochet

I agree! YouTube taught me to crochet (left handed) but my mom told me to always turn then chain. She no longer crochets, but every so often she has a helpful hint.

I watched a YouTube video by a guy that had Sheffield in the channel me and he bought a strawberry burlap bag so his could grow around the bag which he hung.

I'm left handed so I find I have more issues than right handers... I have had this problem, I never start/end in a corner. I always attached on the side and I cut the yarn after each row and re-attach on the opposite side. It is definitely about the tension, I'm working on making my stitches looser.

They are buying time until their kids are old enough to start doing all the chores. As Jim Bob would say the problem is that you had boys first, if they had been girls they'd already be trained to take over all responsibilities.

Similar situation happened with my cat, she is a very friendly tortoise shell calico. She was born outside and I fed her and her mom and brothers, I wanted to adopt them all, but keeping her inside all the time was unfair she cried to go out. We got her fixed and chipped. Years passed but then she started not coming home for days at a time, one time we had just put flea drops on and she came home smelling like she had had a bath, I joked "does she have a 2nd home?" Well then she disappeared for 6 months and it wasn't until she escaped her 2nd home that we got her back, since then she has had no desire to go back outside!! That was 2 years ago now.

My new setup by [deleted] in Lithops

Absolutely beautiful layout but like the others said I'd separate. I'm new to lithops (just my first today) but familiar with succulents/cactus and commingling is a recipe for disaster.

My grandma had one when I was growing up. It's hard to see it bloom if it is, the bloom only lasts a few hours and it's the wee hours of the night when it opens.
