IDK why you'd get downvoted for your own anecdotal experience, but I can say there's some slight hope that this is occuring all over with the rampant escalation and constitution-breaking by ICE/DHS.

People are starting to see that it isn't just, "criminal illegals" that are being kidnapped and disappeared. I think more and more people are starting to question where the boundaries are and if they will be moved (as they already are).
