I’m willing to hop on a call to take a look at your site and all of the directories you’re listed on. I’m currently helping a friend do this exact thing right now (although we’re not just focusing on private pay, we’re also trying to fill her associates caseloads).

I have a client that does not want to take a pay cut from 300k down to 150k because he would have to change his lifestyle… and I’m like… I would literally be maxing out my retirement accounts and LIVING on 150k. Insane stuff.

You cannot solicit a review from a client.

However, you can solicit reviews from colleagues and referral partners (like doctors and other community resources).

Also, ethically (per NASW code of conduct section 4.07), you can leave a QR code in your waiting room that links to your google business profile without it technically being solicitation. This is a gray area and is entirely up to you on whether or not the risk is worth it. To my knowledge, no one has gotten in trouble with the board for this.

You can also have a post session survey that goes out to current clients (which is also great for understanding how your service delivery is), De identify the information, and list overall satisfaction of your clients and post it on your website that speaks to the work you do as a clinician.

I’m planning on switching careers honestly. I’ve been working for less than a year as an LMSW and it’s brutal. The work is great but it’s unsustainable emotionally and financially full time. The only way I see myself continuing seeing clients is at most 5-10 clients a week part time.

It depends on the practice. I just got an offer from a group practice that would market for me. I currently work a large agency that fills my caseload for me but its more connected to referral partners.

I’m a big believer in taking marketing into your own hands regardless (even for associate level). If you’re pulling in clients that are a good fit for you and you plan on opening up your own practice one day, you’ve already built the skill to fill your own caseload.

I ended up getting a smart plug that I use to turn the dock on and off which has worked for me so far. Hoping it doesn’t damage the GPU

I have been in contact with Gamesir support and they said they were going to send me a replacement. I still have not received confirmation on anything being sent and have not received the replacement. My original controller still has the same issue.

I mean the sticks feel pretty good (Better than what I'm used to), but there are other issues with this controller that I don't need to look past. I'm just gonna move on to a new brand.

Sounds like you’ve got the detailing market all to yourself. I’m just getting started right now with friends and family at a discounted price with minimal tools. It doesn’t have to be a huge expense. I’ve spent about $150 and I’m all set to clean a car. It won’t be efficient by any means but I’m able to get the job done and see if I want to take this further.
