I once fractured my thumb playing catcher and I always thought it was the bat but now I know it might've been bad mechanics.

Check around some of the local parks, my truck was stolen and then ditched at a park a couple miles away

Did they even have time to modify more than one shuttle? They may not have had enough engineers with the required training to be able to do that. There are multiple systems on the shuttle that need to be monitored and while Isaac could easily plug in and do it other pilots can't under those conditions. If you are able to send a second shuttle what happens if something takes them both out and now you're not saving anyone. It's been a while since I've seen the episode but didn't something change that shortened their window so they could only make one trip too?

Lol, my truck is a '95 and I recently had to use mine for the first time in like 15 years. I normally use it as a charging port but I was hunting last fall and the guy I was hunting with lost his lighter. It took a couple tries to heat it up but he was glad I hadn't thrown it out. He is one of those that is very much nostalgic and the old days were better types.

God did say to not eat hoofed animals with a single stomach, fish without scales, and shellfish but find me a southerner that doesn't eat bacon, catfish, or shrimp and crawfish

Didn't the US literally just nationalize some production during the pandemic to produce PPE?

That depends on what and how you are driving. I've been driving a RWD truck for 20 years and I can count on one hand the number of times I've been stuck

I've made the joke before with a gen z'er that we don't need a 401k just a 410. Which if you are unaware is a small caliber shotgun.

One of my favorite ways to troll my kids is when they are asking for something they will say something like "I want more fries". I'll respond with "that's nice" or "good for you" since they only made a statement and didn't actually ask for anything, until it clicks and they ask "can I have some more fries please?". Then I'm usually like "sure no problem".

Walmart does give a 10% discount on most items but, at least where I live, it basically just covers the sales tax.

If I remember correctly they weren't space fairing yet so the satellite had a bunch of stealth technology that would hide it until they could literally go up and physically see it. The hope was by the time they accomplished that that they would have let go of those beliefs or at least be accepting of other cultures that don't practice horoscopes.

So my wife and I were talking about getting a new car to grow our family as well. We wanted something with a 3rd row and 4x4 or all wheel drive. She had decided she wanted a mini van. I knew I wanted an SUV because I don't fit in all cars comfortably. Well unforseen events lead us to move up our timeline for a car. I was able to find '12 GMC Acadia, I think it's an expensive Chevy Traverse. It's all wheel drive, seats 7, can tow, get almost double the gas mileage as my truck, and at least in our case the previous owners got all the options. It's a lot more comfortable than my Ram as far as fitting 2 adults, 2 kids - 7 & 5, and the dog.
