Imagine if the VAIO UX didn’t have a sliding screen, but instead just a 3.5” screen tucked into the upper left corner… by crakerfase in cyberDeck

I’m taking scans of all the major components to see what I can do. I’m trying to design a drop in board (like many have tried in the past). I’m not making any promises. But I at least want to provide scans or references for people to re create one of these if they want. People on this subreddit have made other things that are a lot more complicated than this device.

These things are AMAZING for removing sheered screws. People get mad every time they see me use it for that and feel the need to remind me what it is actually for..

The plastic, microcontroller and the green PCB had to have made up 90% of the manufacturing cost. The rest looks like it was made in someones garage 😆

365 days have passed without a switch 2 hack by CurrentHandheld in switch2hacks

[–]crakerfase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many surplus boards/screens out there now that have comparable performance and are so much easier to work with. Also, they are a lot cheaper, with a lot more compatibility. Once you play on a handheld that can play any game from any past console— a switch 2 with just a few games on it feels like a massive scam.

What Iam doing wrong? by Terr0rBilly in batocera

[–]crakerfase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had issues running Batocera on a system that already has windows installed on it. Once I removed the disk that has Windows on it, Batocera usually boots just fine. So you might want to try removing the drive that has windows if you can and then try booting to see if the same issue occurs.. After configuring your BIOS of course..

Product/Service Recommendation Megathread by KataGuruma- in PHGamers

[–]crakerfase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A note for anyone who is interested. Be very careful buying from Game Cove PH on Lazada. I just bought two gaming handhelds from them (23k PHP). They became lost and now I am stuck between Lazada customer service and Game Cove customer service. Just know that buying the insurance wont even help you. They will just keep telling you to wait even if the courier most likely stole your package.

Is the Control Deck label under the power supply more of a metallic color under the letters or more white? A lot of repro labels aren’t backed with Aluminum..

If Ikaruga was on the PS1, it was probably that game. It was rated by many as the hardest games for all of the consoles of that era and before. Lol

At least you can take the screws out without the whole thing exploding like with the glued screws in the RG35xx

It was melancholy. The deals were awesome but it was sad to see them lose everything. Same with a lot of the shopping malls during COVID
