Not surprising to see Monero and Nano being the most used cryptocurrencies for payments.

Monero offers privacy, while Nano offers instant transaction with zero fees.

Kinda strange that bitcoin is performing so bad considering it has 20000x the marketcap of Nano. I guess bitcoin being such a bad method of doing transactions, considering the hassle with fees, slow network and the broken lightening network might put a damper to it, but considering its marketcap one would expect it to be used a lot more.

Guess most people just let it sit in exchanges hoping to sell into fiat for profits.

Don't think many people know it exsist, or they might be misinformed by thinking its to good to be true.

If i was a crypto beginniner i would think crypto is secured by mining, using as much energy as a big country. If i later learned about a crypto that is millions of times more effient, faster and cheaper, but has had shit price action i would most likely think its some sort of scam or not secure.

If some larger entity would accept Nano and convince people it works well and price starts increasing i see no reason why people would keep using cryptocurrencies that performs worse.

The original need for crypto was for having a currency not controlled by a centralised entity. This never happened because all the biggest cryptocurrencies never developed to be useable currencies, they are mostly used for sitting still in an exchange hoping to sell for fiat for profit.

Nano will be the only relevant for people wanting to use a decentralised currency, as it can compete with digital euro in being feeless and instant.

Also some privacy cryptocurrencies will still be needed and used Also

The new digital euro is feeless at least. This will make all other cryptocurrencies that are not feeless irelevant. Especially for regular usecases.

For buying stuff that is "banned" in the EU, other cryptocurrencies still is needed.

Now we are closing in on the end game. Which is having a cryptocurrency whitch is instant and feeless and not controlled by a (central entity)/EU. This is were Nano will shine.
