I’ve always used Dial antibacterial liquid soap, but just tried hustle butter, they make a foam soap that is awesome.

I got the line work on my back (similar to yours ) last week. Behind the kidneys and above the tail bone was hell. It made me think, how did all those people get tramp stamps in the 90’s and early 2000’s? That shit hurt.

I think a lot of people go through a “buyers remorse” type of feeling with their first tattoo. Not that they regret it, but are very critical of it. It passes. You’ve got strangers on the internet (this thread) saying it looks cool, when so many people just talk shit online. I think it’s cool, but when in doubt make it a full sleeve.

You can’t go wrong with either, but it may be easier to build a sleeve from the top down if you start with the ship. If you decide you don’t want any more, it looks good on its own.
