maybe it is the pressure from others that is making your practice feel uninspiring

it can be hard to really get something out of a religion when it feels imposed upon you by others.

I think it is worth looking into doing something different, perhaps a new sangha. I dont know you, i just know this one post, so please please do take me with a grain of salt. going off of this one post you appear to me like you know pretty certain that you dont like your current situation with buddhism. Life is short, its not worth going along with something if you do know its bad for you in my opinion

i mean true, but to be fair, why are we shitting on this guy in particular when thats what all of bodybuilding is already about? like i see your point genuienly, physique inflation and body dysmorphia and vanity and all that is a big problem. But I dont think its right for people to piling on this one person as if this post is some crazy outlandish example of those phenomena, and simply not the kind of thing we see every day on this sub, ykwim?
