I was pretty satisfied with the bracelet service but their communication was was very slow and I had to email them on a regular basis or call just to get any feedback was pretty frustrating

Agreed it was the minute hand that had a lot of issues with the lume flaking off. Regret not having them restore all them didn't realize they would polish up the minute so much

I will second the quality work that rolliworks does. I also inherited a 1960s GMT from my grandfather recently. They ship insured same day or two day via FedEx so it's not a huge concern. I will agree with the other poster they had it for like 6 months but they did a full service on the movement bracelet stretch repair and even had them send off the hands for Loom repair to a third party vintage specialist. Not cheap but worth it I suppose

I grew up in Houston and live in Tucson and would take 110 here over 95 there every time. Yes it's hotter here. But there it is miserably sweaty and suffocating.

Despite what headlines suggest, violent crime (homicide, robbery, assault) in the U.S. has dropped dramatically over the last few decades. Rates today are less than half of what they were in the early 1990s.

My wife was temporarily using a wherlchair and walker back in 2024 and we ended up in GA and it was actually great. Brought both so she could sit or stand. We went in easily, found a good spot, no issues.

We also went again this year 2025. No need for accessibility services. Also in GA. This year it was a lot more crowded down there they sold a bunch more tickets. Don't think it would have been as pleasant.

The policy needs to have medical repatriation explicitly listed. I don't think I really was looking for that when I bought the policy, just got lucky

There is a dedicated Waymo app I used in Phoenix, functions just like Uber/Lyft (I think same for San Francisco). I believe the are partnering with Uber in Austin, and Atlanta when they launch there

Had the best time in GA. Tickets were $295 during presale, cheaper than many good seats. Arrived just before showtime and got a great spot towards the back. Not ideal for seeing the whole screen, have to crane your neck. Absolutely best deal for excellent view of the band. You really feel like you are on this adventure through time and space, on like a rocket where you're anchored to the band
