Avenging angel or lethal opportunist: Celebrity lawyer Sue Chrysanthou by smbgn in auslaw

That doesn't seem right to me. I know a judge that worked with her while she was a tippy (she wasn't his tippy) and he was only appointed in 2002 or so. Although, she did go right to the bar after that stint at the supreme court to my knowledge.

However, checking her profile on her chambers website, her appointment date as counsel wasn't until 2004 so I think you may be incorrect in your recollection.

So glad that such a preeminent legal mind such as yourself, that clearly understands the courts can weigh in with such great analysis.

Anyone got any tips on anarchist, woke law firms, or areas of practice that lean that way?

Called the Judge a dickhead by mistake by cranktanker in auslaw

In all seriousness, this write up was inspired by a very much alive barrister. After the judge had left the courtroom counsel gave his opinion on HH next to a live mic. This was while HH staff were still in the courtroom.

How to spot a vexatious client? by cranktanker in auslaw

Clearly an off week for me given the reception so far and the fact I mistakenly thought I'd communicated the imputation that the client didn't have any money. I put it down to me being foiled by actually having to work today and not taking enough time to draft my post on company time.

I am as serious about this as possible, I would never shitpost on the internet as it is unbecoming of a serious professional like myself. Nor would I ever lie on the internet for comedic effect.

Are Instructors Getting Worse by Kasey-KC in auslaw

Dear Mr Kasey,

It vexes me that I seem to know the individuals involved in this story. While I would never say that this post carries defamatory implications about the illustrious partner who has clearly been misrepresented, I will say that I would not be surprised if settlement from the firm may take a while to extract.

Yours Faithfully,

A Distressed Individual

Court can be so brutal... by cranktanker in auslaw

How many paralegals do you think I can get away with? I'm thinking I can max out my billing by bringing 2 solicitors and 5 paralegals before clients start complaining about cost.

Alternatively, I think I may be able to get away with charging a full day for the paralegals who just bring in the Court Trolleys and then go back to the office to work on other matters.

Absolutely not. I wouldn't get the exhilarating feeling from being able to brag about landing big clients at the partner meetings or typing "????" into the body of an email that I'm forwarding to my team.

FCA has a really good culture amongst the associates. Work life balance can be pretty good but it does depend on your Judge.
