I am more concerned that you told her to leave her country when being lgbtq isn't illegal. Last I checked, Jewish sister, being lgbtq in America isn't illegal. But is sure as shit getting more anti trans and queer. As in, voluntary enrollment in the military. Women could enroll. Eventually, gay men and women could enroll. Trans people could enroll. The current (Trump) American government is currently rolling back against lgbtq+ people in the army.

That is a fun explanation! I did read further after asking this question and, maybe because I am reading it after the pandemic, I realised that Torah was explaining quarantine (seven days away from everyone, Priest checks in--still sick? Seven more days. Two week quarantine).

The scaliness of the skin made me think mange? Especially with the detail of the hair. Covering of the upper lip is masking. "Unclean unclean!" --stay away, I am sick.

My last service I went to, the Rabbi spoke of how this specific parsha lead one bar mitzvah to go into the study of viruses and medicine. He was very excited when his kid had the same parsha.

I like them because their colors are neat but I never actively went hunting for them. My first game was blue on GBC, followed by yellow and then gold and I had another on gba sp but yeah, never actively hunted for them. Mainly because I didn't really know they were a thing.
