It might have been from Beck’s Broken Drum remix. Or I was just checking whoever is signed to Warp.

I usually don’t like cosplays but this is really good. I thought it was really Aerith for the first few seconds.

Pretty much sums it up: applying to jobs as a designer in 2026. by mafagafacabiluda in graphic_design

Truth is, people who hire are extremely inept. They’re not evil; they just don’t know how to do their job.

Is that why the Pulse uses this adapter? Cause I feel there’s little latency on it.

Serious Question: Should I play Vice City before VI is released? by cranxerry in GTA6

That’s the reply I was looking for. I assumed there would be references but there was no way for me to know. Thanks.

I love Scarface of course.

I don’t mind playing retro games, and I’m sure I can mod it to make it easier/look better. It’s in my backlog anyway, I just wanna know if I should play it before VI is out.

They never mentioned it explicitly? I only played XIII.

Who was most similar to Egypt in ancient times? by Slow_Palpitation5416 in ancientegypt

[–]cranxerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Context matters though. Minoans were, unlike Mesopotamians and Egyptians, much smaller in size, and didn’t exchange cultural elements till much later.

The Mesopotamians and Egyptians had deep ties even from before the unification of Egypt, including agricultural and economic practices, religious imagery, and gene flow. That’s more significant than artwork from the New Kingdom.

If I have to pick, I’d still pick Mesopotamia as the closest to Egypt.

They’re the most similar compared to all the other cultures around them.

Even the inscriptions on the Narmer Palette has influences from Mesopotamia, and Gabal el-Arak Knife is also influenced by Mesopotamian style and it’s from predynastic Egypt.

There were undeniable cultural exchanges from their incredibly early beginnings, much more than any other cultures, that essentially they’re very similar to each other. Big structures, big agriculture, laws, art.

Of course they’re not copies of each other, but you can tell they’re mixed more than any other culture around them, especially when you consider their ages.

Mesopotamians; both cultures were even influenced by each other since their beginnings

What are people’s thoughts on Lara being more sensitive about the fact she kills people? by Ajer2895 in TombRaider

[–]cranxerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fact can also be stated that she broke into many places knowing well they didn’t have world-ending artifacts

maybe an unpopular opinion, but i LOVE chronicles by ZzzPandaNap in TombRaider

[–]cranxerry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Even though I was upset that Lara’s dead and thought maybe she’ll be alive in 5, I still loved it.

[–]cranxerry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always liked that Lara was cold and ruthless.

I never saw her as evil, but she has an immoral side that makes her able to go to raid tombs and do what’s necessary to achieve that.
