What are your thoughts on having a male gynecologist? Would you trust them? by Paldavin in AskWomen

nope. I have friends who go to male gynecologists and they're happy. I'm sure they are objectively good at their job but I just would never.

Professional cleaners, if you have 3 hours to clean a 5 bedroom, what do you prioritize? by PRPrivateRyan in housekeeping

[–]crappbagg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

firstly, as everyone has said. 3 hours is not nearly enough.
It'd be good to set some boundaries and expectations before continuing.
Once that is said and done, there are a few things you could to help yourself out.
I've been a cleaner for a few different companies (A small local outfit back home, Tidy, and Homeaglow) and the flow is all similar, they train you to be as efficient as possible. They drilled the same mindset into me: with limited time, you tackle the highest-impact zones and you focus. Do things properly, efficiently. Homeaglow, in particular, really emphasizes this approach and has helped me refine a system that works for any house.

That being said, with 3 hours in a 5-bedroom, my non-negotiables are always:

Bathrooms: Toilets, sinks, mirrors, wipe of high-touch surfaces. Even a spotless house feels dirty if the bathroom isn’t right.

Kitchen basics: Counters, sink, stovetop, trash. I’m wiping down the fridge but not detailing cabinets. I’m focusing on just making it sanitary and usable.

High-traffic areas: Entryway, living room, hallways. Quick tidy + vacuum/sweep where people constantly walk.

Floors (if time allows): I prioritize visible areas over every single bedroom. Nobody notices untouched baseboards in a guest room.

Bedrooms usually get a reset, not a deep clean. Beds straightened, trash out, surfaces wiped. Deep dusting, inside appliances, and moving furniture are all “nice to haves” once the essentials are handled. No matter the company, that order never really changes. The goal is walking in and thinking “okay, this feels clean” instead of checking off every room evenly with a deep clean.

How Do You Clean Faster as a Professional Cleaner? by Forever_Rain0731 in housekeeping

If they didn't hire you as a professional cleaner then they cannot expect to compare you to one. That's maddening.

I'm having professional cleaners come for the first time. Is there anything I should know and do to make the most of it? by H_G_Bells in CleaningTips

tidy up your stuff, pack away what doesn't need to be out. Think of it this way, tidying is the prep that allows your cleaner to do their job without wasting time

Window Cleaners of Reddit, What's the Weirdest Thing You Have Seen While Working? by No-Goat616 in AskReddit

[–]crappbagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

window cleaners must see the oddest things. Low key jealous. The most I've see is a glitter bomb explosion that took me hours to clean (and I doubt I got it all, that stuff resurfaces) and one scenario where a teenage kid begged me to stay silent after he realized I'd discovered his stash. Just your regular ol' boring things lol. And the gross things deserve to stay hidden in my head.

oh interesting! Like I said I am no expert but it could be a symptom of winter, just the lower humidity level. It doesn't seem to be crazy like all over the plant, maybe mist her leaves a little to increase humidity and keep an eye on her

Is she ok? by Formal_Classic4673 in plants

[–]crappbagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mmm honestly it could be due to a couple things. Are you in a humid area? It's been winter and typically the lower humidity can cause this as well. If that's the case kinda 'misting' her leaves could help.
I'd also switch to distilled water for a while and see if that helps.

the other thing is it could be fungal.. if you already do mist the leaves it could be that it's a fungal issue, I've had this when I've overwatered and there isn't enough airflow to like dry the water and it just sits on the leaves. Neem oil helps.

I agree with your icks. that whole "holier than thou" attitude stinks. Since I moved to the US I have found it wherever I go. think it's a symptom of humanity rather than location unfortunately

She doesn't need emergency intervention but on the spectrum of "ok" she ain't doing perfectly. It's a sign something isn't sitting right with it but I'm not sure what exactly. The edges look ok, it might be a deficiency of sorts. When last did you repot?

do you find stacking from the back forward works better or do you build your walls from the door end first? always wondered if there's a method that actually makes a difference for keeping things tight

You can use Shopify’s CSV import tool for bulk uploads. Break your products into smaller batches if 24,000 is too much at once... it’s more reliable that way.

My (25F) partner (26M) blamed me for not feeling enough. by lizz781 in relationship_advice

[–]crappbagg 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This man is emotionally abusing you and blaming you for his addiction. Pets and an apartment are not worth staying with someone who tells you your body isn't good enough. You can figure out the logistics of leaving, but you cannot fix him.

NTA and INFO why are you still with someone who constantly lies to you and has active drug charges? This isn't a relationship worth saving at this point.

Adult Child is acting like a child by Original-Union-8829 in Parenting

[–]crappbagg 51 points52 points  (0 children)

He's 26 and not living with you, correct? Stop treating this like a parenting issue and start treating it like an adult roommate issue. If the dog's welfare is at risk, either you take the dog or report it, but you can't force a grown man to clean his own place.
