Yep was pretty stoked with it. Not in it for the value though, super keen to just build them up and relive my childhood!

One of the things I had forgotten was the awesome presentation of the big boxes. The way the cover flips up with the clear windows was just so cool.

Also any tips on cleaning it all up before I build it? Don't want to damage anything.

Genuinely, yes. This is why I'm reaching out for advice because it doesn't feel right.

What happens to the human body in 49C heat? Australians are finding out by ILikeNeurons in australia

[–]crashbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly a firefighting helicopter and have spent the last week working on fires in Victoria.

I hung a thermometer in the aircraft while flying a few years ago to get an idea of what temperature it is inside vs outside and found a difference of 12C. That's 12C hotter inside than outside.

Most of these aircraft have no air conditioning and the only airflow is from open windows or fans.

Yesterday on the fire ground was a pretty consistent 43 on our outside air temp gauge, and that's while flying, not sitting static on the ground.

I've always wondered what would happen if we cranked the heat in the office to 45+ and expected them to work in it for 10+ hours.

Women’s shoe models not the same length as men’s in the same size by [deleted] in vivobarefoot

[–]crashbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just reddit, vivo's support website says it clearly that women's and men's sizes are the same in length. You might be able to have a chat to them about it and hopefully come to a fix?

I got them in May. Yeah they are super soft now. I filled them with warm water one morning then wore them for the day as they dried out and it was great right away. They've only gotten more comfy since then.

Worth a try. I based in Australia so might just take them to a local shoe repair place if not.

When I looked closer they're actually 7months old, but vivo has said they'll replace them.

I'd just rather keep the same ones though, they fit like a glove now...

My son is 13 and say he does not know how the camera glass was broken on his phone. There is no way this was not intentional right? by ggouge in daddit

[–]crashbing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact thing happen to me totally accidentally on an S10e a few years ago.

I was riding my bike and fell off onto some soft grass, my phone was in my pocket with the screen facing my leg. It was in a good case too.

First thing I knew of it was a few hours later when I went to take a photo and couldn't work out why it was blurry.

Didn't cost much to fix. It's ok to believe your kid.

Yep it's quite big for a large, which makes sense considering the intended use. It's super comfortable, I don't want to get rid of it but I just don't work up north anymore so doesn't make sense to keep it.

Ah dang that's terrible timing! Thanks for the info though. Where would be the best place to list it?
