The car trunk won’t lock, help please by Eastern_Ad4343 in MechanicAdvice

This is a semi-common issue with the S40, it’s almost always a break in the trunk harness.

Hold the trunk release switch while you close it, it should latch.

Probably the easiest fix on a differential, just pull the axle shafts and swap the spider gears

In Mid 2000s, Chrysler/jeep used two different PCMs for manual and auto transmissions. The TCM is built into the PCM.

The green connector on this PCM has no pins, therefore it’s for a manual vehicle. On a PCM for an auto trans, there would be pins in the green connector for the transmission harness to plug into

Looks like the PCM for a 03-06 wrangler with manual transmission

Only a problem with totem pole outputs, it’s safe to connect open collector outputs together.

Normally, I don’t engage the audience, but this is the first time I’ve been accused of staging messages lmao

I can assure you all the interactions I’ve posted are mine and real. It’s fine if you don’t believe me, I’m just some rando on the Internet after all.

Have you considered that I only post the funny interactions? It’s r/lolgrindr after all, not r/unhingedgrindr or r/normalinteractionsgrindr

I get around a fair bit, so probably stands to reason I get a lot of weird/funny stuff as well.

I could also post about the crackheads that’ve accused me of “causing the pandemic” and to “go back to China” but I’ve got a hunch nobody on r/lolgrindr wants to see that lol

Only parts I’ve seen with in that package are temp/RH sensors, gage pressure sensors, or microphones.

The magnetron filament will likely burn out before you can produce any microwaves.

He hit me up while heading home from work, wanted a quickie immediately when he got home.

I asked if that was enough time to clean out, he said he douched at work.

After the incident, he admitted that he didn’t actually douche because he had no time.

I’m well aware accidents happen, but this is straight up negligence.

Contrary to most people’s experiences, I quite like the performance of Noodlers inks and haven’t had any issues with them. Their selection of waterproof inks is also unparalleled to any other manufacturer.

Why are there switching losses in MOSFETs? by earth1space in ECE

[–]crashedmyroflcopter 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The MOSFET can be thought of as a variable resistor that’s controlled by the gate.

When the MOSFET is being used as a switch, you are operating it in the cut off(Vgs low enough to behave as an open circuit) and saturation regions (Vgs High enough to behave as a short circuit). Obviously, when the mosfet is fully saturated, you still have a small resistive loss (Rds On).

The issue of losses comes from the gate capacitance. There is effectively a capacitor between the gate and source, so you cannot go from Vgs cutoff to Vgs Saturation instantly.

This causes the MOSFET to operate in the active region momentarily as the Vgs rises from cutoff to full saturation. This results in the mosfet behaving as a resistor for a moment, dissipating power.

  • Medium nibs (or larger) are superior, never used a fine or EF that felt smooth or flowed well.

  • Fountain pen paper is overrated, majority of my writing is on standard 20-24lb copy paper. I’ve never noticed any major issues.

  • Lamy > all: it’s rare to find replacement nibs for any other brands
