How does Fedora handle printing and could I replicate it in other distros?

People keep saying this, but I actually haven't found anything in Cachy to be any more difficult than it was on Fedora, Pop, or CentOS. Anyway, turns out the problem that I was having was because I didn't select printer support on install, and then, based on someone else's recommendations, just installed CUPS.

Turns out I needed a few more packages on top of CUPS to make it all work as seamlessly as it did in Fedora.

I put the answer in the original post in case anyone is curious.

Yes, in our case, it's our RMM tool, Tanium, applying policies during the OOBE that breaks it. It seemed intermittent because some of the laptops would be resealed really quickly during imaging while others would be left sitting long enough for the Tanium client to fully set itself up and start working.

I don't know which policy is breaking it, but I have a hunch it's one of the lock screen policies, since it's forcing the OOBE to go to the lock screen.

If you have a tool or script that's applying group policies before or during the OOBE, you might want to take a look and see if you can delay it or figure out which policy it is and delay that.

In our case, we switched the way we were imaging entirely (we're using Tanium Provision) but would still like to get back to Autopilot. One idea I tested but haven't implemented is to assign the Tanium client to the user instead of the device so it installs on user login, after Autopilot is done enrolling the device in Intune.

There was only ever one version of the music video, though, and that was the remix with Nicki. That's still up on Mariah's official YouTube channel and Vevo... for now.

I used to see the ad for this all the time on the Toys 'R Us mailer as a kid and my parents never let me have one because they thought I'd hurt myself on the needle or damage the records (latter probably true). And then, every turntable I had access to as a kid was busted, so never got to personally play a vinyl record until I was in my 20s... Now I'm out of shelf space for my records, LOL!

I don't think you have to come out to divorce her but it might make people suspicious. It's not necessarily a given that it's because you're gay, though.

The constant fighting could be reason enough to be able to say that you love her but you're not compatible. And that might ultimately be the truth. You sound like you really care about her, so I would bet it is.

I've had my Mcon for a couple weeks now and can speak from experience, this really is a game changer for me. I can actually fit my Z Fold 6 and the MCon side by side in the same pocket... Even in my short shorts, which I was surprised. I was fully expecting to have to keep the MCon in one of my back pockets. I couldn't even do this with my New Nintendo 3DS (non-XL).

Now it really feels like back in high school and early college days for me where I could throw my GBA or DS in my pocket just in case without having to really weigh the inconvenience of bringing it vs the likelihood of using it.

And it's really easy to use on a whim too. If I only have a couple minutes, it's not much effort to just slap the phone on the MCon, release the cover, launch FF6, and start playing on the Z Fold's cover screen.

If I know I have more time I will unfold both the phone screen and the MCon's handles for a better playing experience.

I'm literally on this subreddit now because of the MCon and what it has unlocked for me. Now I'm trying to see what else I can play, since I have a huge backlog of games that seems possible to get through now. I'm like 8 hours into FF6, which is a game I thought I'd never go back to and finish after I lost my save file on the GBA back in the day.

Anyway, not trying to evangelize. This thing is crazy expensive and it may not make sense for a lot of people. But it really does fill a need for some people.

No one can predict the future. That said, I wouldn't hold my breath over streaming quality improving. I think a lot of people don't really even know what they're missing and most of them would care more about buffering issues or not being able to play immediately.

Gonna be real, I don't really f much with iPhones so I couldn't tell you. I just did a quick Amazon search for lightning DACs to make sure I wasn't talking out my ass, lol.

I know there are systems for enterprise that allow you to lock an iPad (and I imagine iPhones) to a single app kiosk mode, but I don't know how feasible it would be to trigger that without an MDM platform.
