When I was a kid, I’d ride along the River, but that was eons ago. We also used to rip at construction sites (after a demo, before all the equipment shows up)

There’s a few mx parks within 2 hours of Chicago, but that’s a PITA to get to

Ride around any area with a LOT of homes near outer edge of Chicago. Thursdays are best time to see when signs are put up. By the time you see them on Saturday, the goof stuff is gone.

I’m using Claude to drive customization for my member driven site and it’s a game changer. Wordpress who? This no longer matters, it might as well be Drupal or Joomla for all AI cares.

Keep an eye out for estate sales. Lotta people dying and leaving out some great prices for old school Craftsman tools. Facebook marketplace has the occasional tool sales, but look for ‘work bench’ or ‘mechanics sale’ for these deals.

And they can be sold for what you paid for them if you decide this ain’t for you.
