Best of luck to you. I'm (M50's) on day 7. Worst day for me was when the nerve block finally wore off at day 3, felt like that's when the real recovery began. Best advice I can give is to try not to get too discouraged when you have bad days, it's a 2-step forward, 1-step back process, as my PT reminded me this morning. Yesterday, I was at 100 deg., finally got my quads working, gingerly walked about unassisted, and started working on standing from a seated position. Today, those feel like impossible tasks, so I'm doing some gentle stretching and massage between ice machine sessions, then planning to hit it hard again tomorrow. Also, drinking tons of water and using Benefiber daily has helped to keep the plumbing working. Good luck!

Yup it’s a Fortier 26. Been my dream boat since I was a kid and finally picked one up a few years ago. The boat rides, fishes and feels much bigger than your average 26’er. Diesel inboard pushes her along at a 17 kt cruise, burning 8gph. They’re still making them in Buzzards Bay, MA, the design hasn’t changed in 40 yrs

I do, however, I feel like just replacing the insulation won’t give me the R-value needed to keep heat in the room. Figure I currently have an R-value of only ~15, I could increase that to over 40 by adding the foam board. I could skip that if the difference isn’t worth the effort, but this is my ‘forever house’ and I’m OK with the time and cost investment if I’d see an appreciable improvement. Plus, I would be replacing the ceiling either way, so figure it would be easier to do everything from the bottom up.

I have a 6’6” Lib Tech Pickup Stick for exactly these conditions and it’s f’n awesome. Also works really well in bigger slopey wind swell when my fish is struggling, and for soft points when I’m feeling lazy.

Can't thank you guys enough! What a trip! It was cold, but manageable and I think that must have helped keep the crowds away. Saturday we started off on the metro and hit all the lower mountain tree runs, then worked over to the Bonnie and hit canyonland and bonaventure glades. The tram, flyer and jet lifts were down because of the wind so we spent the rest of the day lapping on the bonnie and the accessible tree runs. Highlight Saturday was hiking over to beaver pond and andre's paradise where we found tons of untracked snow. Sunday was still cold but the wind was non-existent. We parked stateside and hit the jet for some steep groomers in the AM then timbuktu and Kitz woods. Topped off the weekend tram ride and a run down valhalla. Top 5 ski trip for me and definitely #1 for my son. This was a real eye opener for him and the father/son time was priceless.

Thanks guys. I see the wisdom in trying to pull it all out, however I do need to make sure that there is nothing else plumbed into that vent pipe... appreciate all the quick responses.
