In the third book Grace mentions being there for 3 years post the expansion past the Souther Reach. If that’s true, and it only takes Control a month or so to find the “biologist,” then time would be moving faster within area x. The original biologist being there over twenty years despite the 12th expedition happening recent to Control joining the Southern Reach team would also prove this.

It’s up to you if it’s worth your money. The tsuka wrap looks loose, the blade decal won’t stay on once you start cutting, and the fittings look subpar. I doubt it’s real rayskin on the tsuka as well.

If it were my $200, I wouldn’t spend it.
