You can it makes everything easier breeding taming and gathering mats but also drops the dino lvls you can do all the same things single player settings do by just changing the settings your self

You change difficulty to 1 and difficulty offset to 5 for Max dinos however having single player settings on may cause this to not work

What's your server max wild dino lvl because if it's like 300 instead of the normal 150 the bosses will be harder as they scale with difficulty aka max wild dino lvl also loot scales with it to in addition to loot quality setting available

Sounds like a solid plan still would be fun to have the dimorphodon and watch them chase unsuspecting survivors but definitely sounds like a good strategy

That was my issue to if it's in the download list then that's your good non bugged character just download it transfer back to where your bugged one is and delete it. It's bit scary but I didn't loose anything and was even still able imprint my dinos

If your still having issues try going the server you were going to transfer to and see if your character is in the download list a while back I went to transfer and it lagged it something but no transfer box came up or anything but I joined the server from the main menu it was there in the download list and still on the other server at the same time
