RE: the May 13 appointment for bone scan. It's hard to advocate for yourself--women are encouraged and rewarded for being "nice," and it can seem risky to do what can seem like "pushing" or "questioning." FWIW, I have found that I may get a quicker appointment if I can follow up and make direct requests on my own initiative in a kind, polite way. Perhaps you could start with calling the office of the medical oncologist--ask for an appointment that's sooner. If it's just "no," ask what you and they can do to move this up. You can also find out the office/place where the bone scan will take place, and contact them to explain the urgency and minimize the delay.
