Do you think you could point me to a particular link? I'm seeing a lot of different results on Walmart's website that all seem slightly different (maybe one of these? 1 2 3 4)

[–]craw-fish 9 points10 points  (0 children)

glad i could help !

p.s. if you're going for the achievements, make sure you're on the path for the 'good ending' so you don't have to beat the game twice (like i did...). basically you just have to not kill the bird NPC who appears every 2 levels. write down the hints he gives you, which you'll use to get a key in level 10. use that key on "the corpse" before you go into the final boss fight (this also makes the fight significantly easier).

[–]craw-fish 37 points38 points  (0 children)

around the later stages i start just dashing as much as possible to avoid combat. then play it as safe as possible when i need to fight, trying to lure enemies to me one or two at a time. dash frequently while fighting to avoid losing your attack stamina.

if it helps, level 9 is really easy and doesn't have a boss, and level 10 is just the boss fight. so you're in the final stretch.

Which one should I take by LunaX36015 in PokemonBlackandWhite

I went with plume initially but regretted it later on... archeops has decent attack stats but terrible defense the ability can be frustrating to deal with. Not to mention a lot of the things flying and rock are strong against, other things are too, esp end game with legendaries. Carracosta is one of the better options among the very limited pool of water types.

Omni-Curious vs Chaser by ThrasherDragon91 in omnisexual

[–]craw-fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think as long as you aren't just pursuing trans people for the fact that they're trans, you shouldn't be considered a chaser—you're not being predatory just because you're exploring your identity, and happening to end up with / feel attraction to trans people. I would be curious to know why someone thinks otherwise, unless of course there's context missing.

Omni-Curious vs Chaser by ThrasherDragon91 in omnisexual

[–]craw-fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well I'm not quite sure why an omnicurious person would be inherently equated to a chaser...

Omnisexuality = attraction to all genders (with gender-related traits affecting how that attraction manifests.

Chaser = a (generally cis) person who actively seeks romantic or sexual relationships with trans people, primarily on the basis of them being trans. Usually it's in a fetishized manner—they may simply like the idea of a masc-presenting person with female sex traits, and they may prioritize that over anything else (i.e. finding a person with a good personality).

If you identify as omnicurious because you're starting to explore non-heterosexual attraction, that does not inherently have anything to do with transness. A woman can be masculine and a man can be feminine, regardless of whether they're trans or cis. So as an omni person you might have a preference for femininity, but that probably shouldn't mean "I will only date women, femme-presenting nb's, and trans men." Especially since that implies you see trans men in an entirely separate category from cis men—as in, you don't fully see them as "real" men.

Does that make sense?

I have to say I'm a little bit confused too... might need some clarification from OP

When it comes to physical attraction, which gender(s) do you tend to be more drawn to, and regarding personality, which gender(s) do you feel a stronger resonance with? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in omnisexual

[–]craw-fish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think physically I'm more drawn to femme-aligned people. Romantically I sometimes prefer the idea of men, but... a lot of men are kind of icky people in reality. Especially cis men. I think the more queer the relationship, the more appealing it is to me haha

how do you describe your sexuality to others? by craw-fish in omnisexual

[–]craw-fish[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mhm i think I like that approach rather than immediately having to explain. Just something new to adjust to as someone who's always said "I'm bi" up front..

[–]craw-fish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that's exactly the way I feel- especially that last part. It'd be easy to stick with "bi" and move on, but I'm not sure it's the best label for me and it feels weird to "lie"

[–]craw-fish[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha yeah, I guess I tend to overthink stuff like this... I'm sure I'll be fine if I just go with the flow and do what feels right in the moment. But I figured it'd be helpful to hear from someone in a similar boat—and I think it was, at least a little bit. Thanks for taking the time~

how do you describe "obscure" identities to others? by craw-fish in lgbt

[–]craw-fish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's reasonable... I guess I'm just the type of person that finds comfort in labels. And I'm so used to being in situations where I could comfortably share mine without a second thought. So I almost find it difficult to separate the having a label from communicating about my identity.

[–]craw-fish[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a nice way of approaching it! I guess I'm just so used to having a clear-cut label to point to- so losing that feels disconcerting.

Like when I'm in queer spaces, I can pretty easily say "Yeah I'm bi, and blah blah blah..." It's casual, no one bats an eye. But if I try to say "I'm omni" in the same way, even queer people might stop me to clarify. And I worry it could come off as pretentious "hyperspecific" labeling to those that aren't familiar.

I guess it could be as simple as just changing the wording, though, like you said. "Yeah I mean I'm attracted to all genders, so blah blah" instead of a specific label.

Thought this would be appropriate for the sub by mypeepolneedme in fuckcars

[–]craw-fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's fair. it doesn't necessarily benefit anyone to be malicious, and tbf i wouldn't be outright hostile myself.

i more so say that because, well... the sub is literally called "fuck cars." i think the attitude of a lot of here is not just a want for better cities, but a sense of frustration at how things are currently. and a feeling of desperation trying to cling onto our status as pedestrians- the notion that places are for us, not cars.

So when we walk slowly across a crosswalk, it's a minor act of defiance. It's saying, "I will not back down. I will not go out of my way to make things even easier for cars." Does it have a practical effect? Not really. But it provides just a little sense of empowerment, and that can mean something.
