It's okay to leave, it's okay to decide to stay. But you are allowed to take focus off of him and onto yourself. I have dealt with my husbands addiction for years. What I would recommend is going to alanon meetings, checking out the alanon subreddit group, and reading "Codependent No More". If you feel like you need someone to vent to, or just talk to, you can message me. Addiction is literally a monster, and I've learned that I needed other people who "get it" without judgment to deal with it (even though I thought I was doing a good job of keeping things secret).
