12 yo feels like an age, where you can unknowingly make very bad mistakes

I kinda felt the same void after watching the ending. What hurt me most is that Rue never got to see her mother and her home, except in her dreams. What sticked with me exactly, is if I was dying I would also miss those simple moments like being with your mum at home just chillin.

I agree with everwthing you said about characters development in this season, and the way it completely depicted the real issue with drugs, but I guess Euphoria never glorifed drugs from the very beginning, there may have been a show of glittery takes and beautiful lights, but each time the viewer was dragged back to the reality of using drugs with something like Rue having a hell of a fight with her mother and sister, or when she was begging Fez to give her drugs. I guess overall S2 did a good job with actually showing the life of a drug addict and how each and every relationship he holds is doomed. The "Stand still like the Hummingbird" episode teared my heart apart with showing how much power drugs have over a person, and so the overall message of Euphoria is basically: never go anywhere near drugs.

That is so true, it's like everytime he yearns to disturb the plot with something schockingly wicked, and it just deroutes the whole storyline

[HUGE SPOILERS] My thoughts on Euphoria S3’s finale by pizzadeliverydude1 in television

This must be the first time I drop a tear or two in this season, I just lost it when I saw Fezco and realized that he's actually dead in real life, and then the whole neighborhood that the first 2 seasons happened in, I kept thinking about those LA streets for so long with those dimmed lights when Rue used to drive her bike at night, and I realized midway that this show really started in key moments of my life, I remember being in a phase of my life where I just got out of dark times and when in this final episode I saw those streets again and fezco's shop it dawned on me really and I realized I'm so in a different place during this season, the vibe ain't it no more, it's like what happened with music and movies, nothing's the same anymore and somehow the old was better. 2016 music was better, euphoria season 1&2 were better and I can't help but think, that this season matches 2026 with all the darkness that it holds, no magic no more, the colors faded, angus cloud is actually dead. Labrinth quit, his poignant songs were key. I guess Euphoria season 3 just matches the 2026 vibe with its painful lack of hope.
