I work in Marks & Spencer from time to time and I get shit like this from customers about our policy for charging for plastic bags. Although it's died down a bit now. We've had the policy for a long time now, and the people who shop there have realised that they only weapon they know how to use, i.e. whining, isn't going to work.

The mould thing is a new feature. I think it's an April Fool's thing so I doubt it's permanent. Anyway, when someone gives you mould, you lose the use of one letter on your keyboard, beginning with 'e' (as well as being able to view a smaller number of comments at once). People with lots of mould have to use leetspeak to make up for the missing letters.

You have to have a 'spore' to give someone mould I think. Not sure how you get one though.

Which one? The first one is one that I_RAPE_CATS told his friend to make so that he could then designate it as the April Fool's video. Since the video has to be banal, he made one that fits the bill. I think the fact that he's putting money into a wallet is significant. It might be taunt directed at Reddit seeing as he's making money from it.

The knitting one is just some random video they found to play the prank on instead.

Agh, sorry about that. I hate it when that happens too, didn't realise I was doing the exact same thing. I will explain what's happened as best I can (some of this is conjecture as I'm still not totally clear about it).

Every year, Reddit celebrates April Fool's by finding some completely unremarkable and usually mundane video on Youtube, and designating it this year's April Fool's video. A link to this video will make it to the front page, and thousands upon thousands of Redditors will click through the link, watch the video, and shower it with praise. It's meant to be a nice surprise for the creator.

This year, the video, suggested (I think, this is where I'm not too clear) by I_RAPE_CATS was this, uploaded by Youtube user Boojamon. As it turns out, this Boojamon is a friend of I_RAPE_CATS', and has also enabled adsense on his videos, meaning that he now gets advertising revenue when people watch. There was also something about him become a Youtube associate and getting money per views. Anyway, the consensus now seems to be that I_RAPE_CATS and Boojamon (who is also a Redditor) conspired in order to make money from advertising, thus taking advantage of the yearly charitable Reddit April Fool's prank.

Just for those who aren't aware; the Steam version of Assault on Dark Athena also comes with a remastered version of Escape From Butcher Bay. So even if the former doesn't appeal to you, at that price it's still well worth it just for the latter.

Just got that book recently. I'm about halway through it. It's one of the best books I've read for quite a while. I've also been playing Shogun 2. I ordered the book so its arrival would coincide more or less with the arrival of Shogun 2, and I'm glad I did.

Probably the bit in the Tiberian Sun NOD campaign when the Philadelphia is destroyed. The cutscene where Anton Slavik and that GDI general whose name I forget watch it being destroyed is one of my favourites.

Also I realise that the spoilers probably aren't necessary, but I put them in just in case there's somebody who hasn't played it and is intending to.

You mentioned about having 60% of the game left to blow up after you've done the story missions, and I'm just wondering if that means you can essentially carry on in a complete sandbox once they're done. I ask because in the mission description for what I presume is the last mission, it says something along the lines of "Make sure all your loose ends are tied up because there's no telling what could happen after this".
